Someone that is smarter than me should chime in. But gears have to do with rotational physics and resetting the rotational physics to normal so the engine can work as designed. So a supercharger will just give more power to what is the changed baseline.
3.5 inch metalcloak game changer, 37x13.5 toyo open country, steel bumpers front and rear, metal cloak diff covers, and yukon 5.13s afe intake, TBS, and shorty dump exhaust, and iDrive pedal commander, and AFE scorcher remapping for the air intake, and a procal programmer, and a bunch more stuff.
OK 300 miles on the gears, and they have been tempered... getting the diff fluid changed in a few days at 500 miles. AMAZING results so far. was at 11.7 MPG, now 16.4, shifting is correct as it used to be, and RPMs are down! this is the best change I have made yet.
It started at 5, I rolled it up to 12 today before going out to run errands. Much better in the highway, a little stiffer in a parking lot. I am still playing with the settings to find the sweet sport.
I just got mine back with 5.13s, I have a Mojave with a 3.5 inch metal cloak game changer lift and 37x13.5 toyo open country MTs. They measure out at 30psi to 36.2. Before the gears (about 1000 miles on the lift) it was dragging and not shifting properly at all with reprogramming. I am 90 moles...
after the lift, and larger tires, I put on the Fox ATS 2.0 stabilizer, 25 points of adjustment, it made an immediate difference. I didn't feel anything odd when it was stock, after the lift, I was getting a ton of movement. Now nothing... its very nice
I just got mine back with 5.13s and in the break in period. I was very unhappy with the stock 4.10s on 37s. Now I have seen 8th gear on side roads and uphill acceleration is back like stock. 37's fit fine with my 3.5inch metalcloak game changer lift, with a better ride and keeping the fox...
