I've noticed that my front passenger side shock has a leak. Not a huge one, but its wet at the bottom after a few days if I wipe it clean.
Gives me a good excuse to have a lift installed. Added weight from the Arcus and winch have me about where I was height wise when it was on 33's.
I don't...
Upgraded to 35x12.5x17 yesterday and scared the crap out of myself this morning pulling out of my driveway.
catching big time out the inside of the arches on both sides. Not even on full lock.
So I’m thinking wheel spacers might be a quick fix? Anyone running them with stock wheels and suspension?
15k on them, no repairs etc.
A few nicks and chunks out of them (middle of the tread pattern) from Arizona’s rocks but nothing major.
Asking $100 a tire but make an offer
Bought, kind of mounted and can’t get it to fit the bumper I’m running. Wires are way too tight against the grill.
$100, pick up only. Shipping cost is insane
I’ve got an Arcus bumper on. Cannot for the life of me get the box to fit on top of the winch. Winch won’t sit flush against the winch plate when it’s turned the correct way.
Ended up turning the box around and I hate how it looks.
Anyone got any ideas?
Got an Arcus bumper this week and am going to order a light bar from @Diode Dynamics.
Anyone got a drill free way to securely attach to the overrider bar? I assume someone does a clamp.
It will hang upside down i guess? So inside the bar
Just ran through, I kid you not, a load of nails at the entrance to our neighborhood.
Three flats, multiple holes in each tire. Managed to cruise the 400 yards to the house hearing what sounded like 900 angry rattlesnakes under the Jeep.
I have loved the Falken Wildpeaks that came with it...
Ticked off 3 BOH trails yesterday here in Arkansas.
SNAKE was easy - nothing to it.
FUN RUN also easy - a few climbs up slippery rock but totally manageable.
RUBICON RIDGE certainly challenged me! The first 200 yards are extremely rocky and it’s all downhill. I got one bad picture. But you...
Hi all.
Moved from the southern deserts of AZ to Central AR a few months ago.
Looking for good, fun trails and camping spot recommendations in the Ouachita and Ozarks.
Any issues with camping in those areas during hunting season?
My only regret with my Gladiator is not going for the 4 aux switch option. Ok maybe another regret is not going steel bumpers too.
I'm really not skilled when it comes to working on technical things. I can however follow instructions and keen to learn.
I'm looking at adding cowl lights as my...
Bought the Alien gear tonneau. Wasn’t expecting much but WOW.
Quality is piss poor. God awful stitching, the clamps are cheap and flimsy, whoever designed it didn’t think about the lights so when you go to clamp down, low and behold… you can’t! They give you enough weather stripping for the cab...
After selling our house and spending my “gun allowance” for the rest of the year (so the wife thinks), I’ve got money left over for wheels and tires.
I’ve being eyeing the AEV Pintler wheels as I really like the offset +25.
Not into the tires sticking out from the arches, want to keep it...
I'm driving from Phoenix to Houston on Wednesday the 13th of July. Leaving Houston to go back to Phoenix on Friday the 15th.
Anyone need anything shipped back and forth along the I10 corridor?
I'll have a 7000lb utility trailer. Bed size 16ft x 6.7ft
I’ve got a 5000 mile first service sticker in the corner of the windshield. About to hit that and curious as to what it involves.
tried to book with my local dealership but they only have an option for 10k miles.
I’m about to do 3600 miles in a matter of weeks. Going to be… fun
Driving from Phoenix to Houston with essentially my house loaded onto a trailer. We have a very small house and very little furniture. Weight figures are probably over estimates but I'd rather plan for worst case and be under.
2022 Rubicon gas, automatic. weight online says 5050lbs.
Pulling...
Taken out and replaced with rubber ones at around 1000 miles.
Hit them with a hose and they’ll be good as new. Sedona dirt and Jack Russell hair come free
cover my postage costs and they are yours
We are moving in with my in-laws in a month or so which is going to involve a 1200 mile drive from Phoenix to Houston.
My wife initially thought we could all fit in the Gladiator (wife, child, me, dog, tortoise) and take everything she wants for a year HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Once she started listing...
I’m home alone while the wife and kid are in Los Angeles, visiting her sisters.
Got some beautiful Phoenix weather over the weekend. 90,91,91,97.
Stripped everything off and put the freedom panels back on. Makes a massive difference on the freeway! The wind comes from behind you, even when...
Slightly boring question.
Doors and roof off = better fuel economy or worse?
Taking them all off removes just short of 300lbs by my calculations. Does the increased drag cancel out any benefits from the weight saving?
I’d imagine it does but I’m not smart enough to work it out haha
Made the drive from Phoenix to Sedona this morning.
Started to trip by heading to Devils Bridge.
Trailhead parking was packed but you can drive a high clearance 4x4 down the trail. The obstacle of rocks they put across the entrance to stop people driving normal cars down, was the worst...
