No guessing with Death Wobble. It’s not subtle. Never had it on any of my solid axle Jeeps in over 30 years but I’ve experienced it and fixed it on friends’ Jeeps. Not necessarily in order but the below sums it up. Only other thing I’ve seen is a badly worn control arm bushing. I typically...
I like your thinking. I reached out to a boat canvass place near me with a similar idea but they told me I was looking at over $2k of custom work so I ended up with Bestop Element doors with panels and fabric uppers. Not exactly the same but it works ok and I have half door look. Post up if you...
I did this before on my 2020 driving from PA to Yellowstone camping, off-roading. It worked in Northwest Nebraska and eastern Wyoming - off the interstate where there was no cell signal for days. Otherwise, it’s not really necessary and probably won’t do it again.
Congrats!! Welcome to the obsession. My advice is to drive it a while and see how you use it and buy quality parts to upgrade weaknesses. You’ll be amazed by how much you can do with a mild setup like you have. I hated the clutch and went with Centerforce and love it now. Good luck !!
I did a CJ/Wrangler with a trailer for nearly 30 years before the JT came out. It’s a PIA to hook a trailer up and a lot less flexible - inevitability without the trailer when a need pops up, requiring a trip to go get it . Love my JT. Jeep is gonna need to do sone refresh if they want to keep...
Been running Tazer for 3 years to change tire size, gear ratio, enable forward camera, turn off ASS (auto start stop), traction control, and no issues. Recommend reaching out to ZAuto- might have a bad one and/or a bent pin on Jeep or Tazer. Good luck.
Sorry for long post… On my 2020 Rubi, I’m running 37x12.50 Mickey Thompson AtzP3 D Load tires with Synergy 1.75” wheel spacers on stock wheels. Zero issues with my tire setup. I was running without spacers but was getting into my sway bar offroad at lock.
Rusty’s 2” advanced lift, Teraflex...
I have a 2020 Rubi with a manual trans. I’m also not new to manual transmissions been them for over 30 years daily and I stalled during my test drive when backing into the parking spot. Takes some getting used to or like me - replace it with a Centerforce clutch which is awesome. I tow, off...
Not joking. Probably hard to tell in the video. There is supposed to be some fluid, controlled resistance and a limit to the rotation and x axis play. It would move 1/4” in and out of the out sleeve. When I took the joint out, it rotated completely inside the socket just by swinging it around...
