  1. New Jeep Owners App

Oh, I know it wouldn't let me drive away with it.. but somehow, I think remotely starting someone else's vehicle, or unlocking their car doors is a rather substantial risk that you'd THINK Mopar wouldn't be willing to take. In fact, you'd think the moment their developers realized this was a...
  2. New Jeep Owners App

New app shows the gladiator, and my old renegade... Which I can still locate, unlock, lock, and start. THAT is a problem. Went to add my wife's GC, and was told that I had to finish the login via the app on the vehicle..... Which, of course, requires that I pay for GuardianXM. No thanks, and...
  3. Is the going rate for 37's really this much?!

Can't speak for the 37s, but CURRENTLY, our local dealership is hard to beat the pricing on 35s, with their buy 3 get 1 for $1 offer. PLUS, check to see if your local dealership has a 15% discount for parts and service, too. Right now, I'm being quoted $1485.92 for 5 Toyo AT3's, mounted...
  4. What Did You Do FOR Your Gladiator Today?

Not TECHINICALLY today, earlier this week: Took the Gladiator down for it's first PAID oil change and rotation, and splurged on the 3 for the price of 2 pack. (yes yes.. I know.. the oil change is dirt simple.. blah blah blah... I'm paying for convenience, not the know-how). Honestly, glad I...
  5. Ughm... pretty sure someone needs to proofread their own tire coupons...

LOL... I've been watching for a 35" post with pricing errors, myself ;) Using it as a DD, I really can't take the hit to do everything for the 37s, so trying to find a way for some 35s over the stock 33 MTs... Just haven't decided on staying with my stock rims, or moving to aftermarket with...
  6. Ughm... pretty sure someone needs to proofread their own tire coupons...

Didn't even catch that...but yeah, now I see it. Feels like marketing needs to learn a bit, egh? ~ Casp
  7. Ughm... pretty sure someone needs to proofread their own tire coupons...

Was exploring the Mopar owner's site, today, and ran across this... (After their 'NEW AND IMPROVED' app apparently has my previous vehicles, but doesn't have my current ones in them... FAIL) Pretty sure someone needs to proof read their own coupons when they decide to come up with deals... LOL...
  8. Rear ended today - tow hitch damaged

There's a simple way to prove diminished value... have a car dealership write you up a letter indicating that due to the damage that has been done to it, they would lower the buyout by X% of the total value, since they're taking on risk with the trade/purchase. Have done just that, my last 2...
  9. More FALL, please!

Ughm.. isn't this post a little bit evil, since you all don't even MAKE a full top for the Gladiator? Don't get me wrong, I love my sunrider, but that photo just makes me twitchy. ~ Casp
  10. Tonneau owners : Armis soft roll up or Bak x4s?? About to pull the trigger on one

Like Commodus said, above.. the Mopar soft tonneau has been good to me. Even taking it through a carwash, I only get maybe 3-4 drops inside the bed... which is actually LESS than I get in the cabin, with the freedom panels in. LOL That said, a cloth tonneau always makes me a bit nervous in...
  11. Tazer or Other? - Any Way to Change the Auto-Dim Speed Setting?

Huh... I could swear I've tried this, and it just straight up wouldn't activate...something test out, I suppose. ~ Casp
  12. Tazer or Other? - Any Way to Change the Auto-Dim Speed Setting?

LOl.. I have pillar lights and the front end 9" spots. I would love to do nothing more. But, honestly, they're so bright, I imagine it would blind someone for a significant amount of time. My goal, honestly, is to make someone go 'Oh hell!'... not 'AAHHH!!!! I Can't see!!' (causing an accident)...
  13. Tazer or Other? - Any Way to Change the Auto-Dim Speed Setting?

Love my auto-high beams, here.. but yeah, the low speed thing is annoying.. AND, around here, if you auto dim your highbeams too early, the oncoming idiots with theirs on, won't dim theres (because they never see you dim yours, and they're not being blinded) Additionally, if you have auto high...
  14. Gladiators in STL?

Not gonna lie.. I wasn't sold on the red, initially, either. Woulda preferred either StingGray or Graphite. That said, I was originally looking for a Wrangler, too. Just happened to stumble across this new one at Federico, back in April 2021, at the height of the lack of cars.. they offered me...
  15. If I had to start over... what I would buy again, what I would pass...

Regarding the seat, it's the lack of heating on the outer edges.. it means that while my back and rear are hot, my thighs and legs are often still cold. Conversely, my wife's GC TH heats the seat, and it winds up covering the entire width of the seat after a few mins.. likely just a wider...
  16. Sirus XM subscription?

One hilarious thing about XM, the app's channels are streamed in much higher quality, and less compression than the OTA channels. So, I tend to keep the sub, and use the app to stream where I can... more channels, overall, and better quality. :) ~ Casp
  17. If I had to start over... what I would buy again, what I would pass...

If I had to do it over again, I'd probably go with the soft top, and a hard tonneau, instead of the other way around. I've piecemealed mine into the shape its in, now, primarily from buying parts from users on here, but I've also added just enough that I'm almost to the point of being content...
  18. Missouri UnderCover Ultra Flex Hard Folding Truck Bed Tonneau Cover | UX32010

I assume this doesn't work with the factor trail rail system? (Thought this is why I ruled it out, earlier.. can't recall) ~ Casp
  19. Missouri Bestop Sunrider Premium Twill $400

Sent you a DM, again. Apparently I'm back in the market for a Sunrider. ~ Casp
  20. Resolved. Mods please delete.

Not sure if that's sarcasm or not.. but as someone who builds 'lego' kits as a way to relax, I gotta say, many of the knockoff companies have a much stronger customer support. I believe it was CADA, that sent me a replacement kit, and an entirely different kit as an apology, when I had a kit...
