  1. Need a Part# for this lower air induction tube

2018-2021 Mopar Ambient Air Duct - Mopar (68304129AA)
  2. Beadlock Variant Options

I have 3 sets of Hutchinson, one set on my rock crawler which is the only one that needs them, one set on my JT and one on my daughters JK. They are by far the easiest beadlock to change a tire on. They lock the inner bead as well as the outer bead and are virtually indestructible. You put...
  3. would you let your 18 year old have a Jeep

When our girls started to drive we bought a 2003 TJ Rubicon for them to drive to school and back. This was in 2003, so a while back. Manual transmission and I took the rear seat out. When they occasionally drove over a curb I did not have big repair bills. Nobody else drove it but the girls...
  4. Tensioner and Idler pulleys Water pump too?

If you change the water pump I recommend you change the thermostat also. I concur with leaving everything as is if no problems are detected.
  5. Bed Step

I have an Amp Research Bed step. I like it a lot. It lowers down about 7" and folds up out of the way. I also use one on my 2500 pickup. Never done any maintenance and it work great after about 12 years.
  6. Overheating from idling too long

Just some thoughts. If the coolant reservoir has coolant in it when the engine is cold and nobody had the system open before this all started I would be skeptical of air in the system. Where did the air come from? I would think a sticky thermostat but if you were idling and this started...
  7. Offset Question - what’s +10mm mean

The graphic is great! I was putting a new radiator and transmission cooler in my truck yesterday and the 1/4 drive extension and 10mm socket leapt off my ratchet and sacrificed themselves to my truck. Where they went is known only to the gods. :)
  8. UPDATE IN OP - 2026 JT - Clayton 2.5" Ride Right - Add MOPAR Extended Lower Control Arms?

Generally speaking the lower control arms position the axle location, fore and aft, under the vehicle and the uppers adjust caster/pinion angle. When you have adjustability you can tune the position and camber/pinion angle of both axles. You may want to ensure the axles are "square" under the...
  9. UPDATE IN OP - 2026 JT - Clayton 2.5" Ride Right - Add MOPAR Extended Lower Control Arms?

I do not see a reason not to use the Mopar adjustable arms. They are sunk cost. I have the Clayton 3.5" lift on mine and I like their stuff but if you have the arms put them to use, my opinion.
  10. Fraser 3.6 Reman Swap

I think it prevents the engine from starting but cranks the engine. This should "prime" the oil system so there is some oil circulating before the engine actually starts.
  11. Fraser 3.6 Reman Swap

Nice write up. Quite the undertaking. Keep us updated on how your JT is running. Your comment about the V-8 swap is spot on.
  12. Front Diff cover and Diff damage

I would recommend you pull the cover and see if the entire mating surface around the damaged area is impacted. Use a straight edge to see if the diff housing is flat on the mating surface closer to the inside of the seating surface. If it is then get a new cover, I recommend on of the cast...
  13. Jt regear differences over jk

The axles are different from the JK. My JT is a Rubicon and has Dana 44 front, (M210), and rear, (M220). The most significant difference are the part availability and cost. The Advantek axle differential bearings are more expensive and harder to find. The carriers use the same bearings...
  14. Oil cooler swap now CEL - oil pressure sensor p0520

I am assuming your referring to the pressure sensor from the P0520 code.
  15. Oil cooler swap now CEL - oil pressure sensor p0520

RockAuto MOPAR 68334877AA Info Category: Oil Pressure Sender / Switch $48.79
  16. Split Loom choices

McMaster-Carr. You can find some high temperature split loom there. Also different styles besides the corrugated loom. I've been replacing my JK loom using this source. JK loom turns to dust. sometimes I can't write or read. Corrected the post.
  17. P0441 code - running out of things to replace - help needed...

You may want to do a smoke test. Frequently that is the only way to locate a leak in this system.
  18. Are the RSE Step Sliders strong enough for MOAB trails?

I have the RSE sliders with the armor on my JK, which is a trailer queen, and does mainly rock crawling and the sliders hold up well. They will deform if you really slam them hard, but all sliders do. The slider can deform to the point that you may have to use a grinder to touch up the step...
  19. Little lift kit question

I agree. I'm running the Clayton Premium 2.5 with 37's. I recommend the version with gyro joints in both ends of the control arms for all but the most difficult off roading.
