Finally got some time to do a much needed project in my bed. Plan was to build a riser for the front portion of the bed to allow full width storage at the front while keeping my Dewalt tough boxes in place while allowing me still the ability to still use the bed full length wise to carry lumber...
No parking brake is used unless on an incline. My garage is relatively level so I dont think it would be too much help and I feel little I shouldn't have to set the parking brake everytime.
I will be taking mine in next week to get looked at. Mine is bad enough now that it does it almost everytime after being in park and it started clunking while the transmission downshifts
No the fender holes align perfectly and this picture was taken before I installed the second bolt. The only problem with the kit is the second bolt is not included in and you need to supply your own.
Yup I got those installed. However its still not quite the best solution and still has some play that I don't quite like. Part of the reason I'm getting Builtright rails is to have a more secure attachment and lock points. My issue comes mostly from the one panels hinges not being drilled...
Towed this little guy just fine. Its a rental so not a regular thing. I do plan to tow a 8x16 enclosed construction trailer and also a 7x12 landscape with a tractor semi regularly.
