    I'm still going to wait. With the collision avoidance I would hate for the truck not knowing there is a trailer connected and then have the trailer pass me during a hard emergency brake.

    The cross bracing of the cover prevents you from really any additional height. I measure about 17.25" The dewalt cooler pictured is about 16.25" tall.

    Yes it would be. Diamondback sells the extra cleats in packs of 4 however. I also plan to strap my maxtrax to the top of the cover. With the 4 cleats per panel I will be able to open the panel without unstraping.

    Hardware is 3/8-16 x 1" stainless button heads 3/8 stainless washers 3/8 unistrut channel nuts (or t slot nuts for a tacoma might be a better option (if you have the stock trail rail system) I got all of this at menards but most hardware stores should have this stuff.     Added stock drings to the rail and changed the builtright hardware out for 3/8 stainless button heads.

    Bed is coming along. Installed a riser box on the bed floor that will allow me to still use the bed for lumber and carry my toughboxs securely. Next I have some builtright products to install.
