  1. Who else doesn't care for the red dash on the Rubicon?

The red dash doesn’t bother me as much as the red stitching. The dash panels can be changed/painted pretty easily but the stitching was the deal breaker for me. They should have treated it like the JL and went gray on the non-neutral colors. That being said I also decided to go saddle leather...
  2. Dangerous Imogene Pass todat

Pictures can be deceiving... but the trail doesn’t look particularly tight in this photo. How did they manage to go over?!?
  3. Soft Tops now available from Mopar (part numbers)

I find it a bit disturbing that it’s only $100 up-charge for the premium, yet they charge over $500 to get the premium top when you buy the vehicle!
  4. Warn Winch VR10s install, anyone done one?

Really digging your bumper. Super reasonable price as well. Any issues with it? Feels pretty solid? Were you able to use your factory fogs? Also like your wheels. Are they true bead locks?
  5. Punk'n owner's unite!

I’ve looked over several Punk’n JLs and I don’t see it as “metallic” in any lighting that I’ve seen. It doesn’t have metallic flake like a typical metallic color. It’s more of a slight croma shift. For the most part it looks like a regular paint like the firecracker red.
  6. Any features you wish to change?

Good to know. I figured there would be an aftermarket option eventually.
  7. Punk'n owner's unite!

Stopped by my dealer to check status. Still D1 but estimated ship date of 8-23 now. Not holding my breath but hopefull.
  8. Any features you wish to change?

I’m wishing I would have gotten the trail camera. Originally I wasn’t going to get the 8.4 audio so I ruled out the trail cam. Then I decided to add 8.4 but didn’t even think about the trail cam again since I had ruled it out earlier.
  9. New Dealer in Wash DC area, Brown's Jeep-Dodge (Very Good)

Agreed. Great price off the lot and not bad overall. To me anywhere from 3-5% under invoice is a great price in the current landscape.
  10. New Dealer in Wash DC area, Brown's Jeep-Dodge (Very Good)

Yikes $800 dealer fee! That’s where things get misleading. Spencer charges $75 fee so even though he only does 3% under invoice he actually could be cheaper overall depending on your build.
  11. 5% under invoice is currently the best deal?

That’s my point. Until affiliate pricing is honored 7% under invoice isn’t realistic. Hopefully it will be soon, but until then 3-5% under invoice is a good deal. I’m not trying to be a jerk, but I keep seeing people post about 7% off and I haven’t found a dealer that will honor it currently.
  12. 5% under invoice is currently the best deal?

What is your tax rate?!? I’ll have 3500 in taxes alone. Also I’m assuming you got in when affiliate pricing was being considered so you were at 7% under invoice?
  13. 5% under invoice is currently the best deal?

I’m not convinced 14% is an achievable number until next year at best. That would equate to $7763 off an MSRP of $55,455 (my build).
  14. PUNK'N Gladiator JT Club

Do estimated ship dates come from your dealer? Or Jeep Chat?
  15. 2020 Jeep Gladiator Pricing: $33,545 (Sport), $40,395 (Overland), $43,545 (Rubicon) + Options Prices

I’m not convinced “most” people are getting 12% off MSRP. Early orders benefited from dealers not knowing affiliate pricing wouldn’t be honored which resulted in 5-7% under invoice pricing. Since early June when dealers were made aware of this, discounts have dropped to 3-5% under invoice. And...
  16. Can’t connect

Same for me. I switched to Firefox on my iPhone and works fine now.
  17. Groceries in the Bed

Seeing your photo makes me think... can wood be Line-X’d? It would be great to have a 2x4 and 2x6 coated when I get the bed done!
  18. analysis paralysis - 35s or 37s

I wouldn’t go with 37s on an overland. 3.73 gears will be pretty tall for 37s
  19. Post your 2020 JT Gladiator build status

Do they build over the weekends?
