Sorry for the later then expected photos and feedback. I was hoping to get out in the fall colors for some real glamour shots but my job has been hectic the last few weeks.
Here are a few “better” photos.
The day has come! I received my Armor Lite sliders last night and installed them this morning.
Overall I am very impressed with the engineering and build quality. I did scratch my head a few times with the instructions but I was able to figure everything out.
I’ll do a full review in a few...
I’m in design and manufacturing so I totally get where you are coming from. Just getting impatient. Been waiting for a year now for sliders I wanted. Only took 6 weeks to get my Gladiator built!
As long as the product meets/exceeds my expectations I’ll be happy. But throwing in a set of those...
Just an FYI. I have Trail Hogs on my Gladiator as well. 2 of my tires didn’t balance well and had a high “road force” measurement. (Runout)
I contacted Greenball after trying to get them rebalanced twice. They said my warranty was void because I didn’t run 80psi as recommended.
I ran 37 PSI.
Avoid the Trail Hogs. I have 37s on my Gladiator and 2 of them have been out of round since day 1. Greenball Tire (manufacturer) has been a PITA to work with. If you want further details feel free to PM.
I’m not very knowledgeable on this but I trust my mechanic/friend that recommended I add them. He has been a Jeep mechanic at my local dealership for many years and has a lot of experience with the Mopar (and other) lift kits. He also has no reason to “up sell” me because he just told me what to...
Any resolution to this? I have the same issue with my Mopar lift and Daystar 3/4” spacers. Funny thing is it looks fine on the passenger side, but the driver side looks like the spring is pushed forward toward the sway bar disconnect.
Damn... I ordered driving version. I want them for ditch coverage as well so I’ll try putting a little angle on them to keep the light off the hood somewhat. Should be here tomorrow.
How do you like those Rigid spots? I’ve been thinking about putting a pair on the cowl as well but I’ve been back and forth about beam pattern. Spot vs driving.
Also I plan to use similar brackets but the top mounting position on the hood.
I installed a SteerSmarts track bar and Rubicon Express geometry brackets. Technically I wanted the AEV geo brackets but after 2 weeks they still hadn’t shipped my order so I canceled it.
Neither part is critical, but I would recommend both.
I’m hoping to get some opinions on lift options to help push me in the right direction.
I purchased a Mopar 2” lift, adjustable track bar, and geometry correction brackets for the front. I’m paying to have these installed at the end of the week but I’m second guessing my decision as I don’t...
Only downside IMO is strength. It’s really just a winch plate with a stamped steel cover. It’s not that it feels cheap or won’t take some abuse, but it’s also not one of the 1/4” thick steel fabricated tree bashers.
I had a Mopar steel bumper and it felt very comparable to that bumper.
