  1. Lady ran a red light

Gladiators are not cheap and it takes a lot to total them so I'm not going to speculate whether it's totaled or not. All I can say is what it took to fix mine. I took a hit that wiped out the driver's side and the repairs were around 17K. The B pillar was pushed in about 4" and needed to be...
  2. Most minimalist style bumpers?

The most minimalist bumper that I've seen is just taking a Warn winch plate and using that along with EVO D-ring mounts. It seemed to work pretty well for an absolute bare-bones bumper. Here's a YouTube video showing it on a JL but would be the same for the JT.
  3. Frame damage directly off the delivery truck

@Devil Dog is right. First thing is to go back to the dealer and let them know about the issue and that it needs to be fixed.
  4. Cancel 3.6 Gas order for a new 3.0 Ecodiesel order?

I still have zero regrets with the 3.0. I've spent a fair amount of time behind the wheel of a 3.6 and to me, the shifting of the trans is about the same. DEF in my area is about twice what you are paying and I only get around 3,500 miles out of 5 gallons. The loss of power happened in a 110°...

  6. Cancel 3.6 Gas order for a new 3.0 Ecodiesel order?

Personally, if you already have a 3.6 on order I would just stick with that. The 3.6 is a good reliable engine that has more than proven itself. JT's with a 3.6 also have a higher GVRW. I have the 3.0 and have zero regrets about getting it. The power and torque are addictive and it does get...
  7. What was your ride before the JT?

Traded in a 2016 Tacoma for the JT. I Really liked the Tacoma but needed more room in the backseat for the kid.
  8. Any tips on routing wire into under the hood fuse box?

One thing to keep in mind. For the 3.6, the fuse box sits on top of the auxiliary battery. I believe you have to pull the fuse box to get to the battery. Whatever you’re adding, you might want to include a quick disconnect to make it easier.
  9. Where does this piece go?

It's used to cover the sensor for the collision warning and adaptive cruise control if you fold the windshield down.
  10. Ran over a bungee cord on the road. 4500 miles

That's not a warranty issue. That's a road hazard problem. A warranty would be there is a defect with the tire. The fact that something damaged the tire is a road hazard. The dealership might fix the flat, but more than likely it's going to cost you something.
  11. Which Badge of Honor trails can I do on a stock JTRD

Engineer Pass is a fairly easy run. I managed to do it in a stock JTRD that was overloaded for camping with a handful of scraps to the bottom.
  12. Gladiator Expedition Rigs

The blind spot from the traction boards is impressive, to say the least.
  13. So far, how many states has your Gladiator been?

So far it's been to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana.
  14. How long it would take Diesel Engine MPG to pay for itself

I'll be the first to admit that I didn't want to read through the 10 1/2 pages of comments so my apologies if this has been stated already. DO NOT get a diesel if you're looking to "save money". It's not just the cost of fuel. That alone it's going to take you a looooong time to pay for the...
  15. Looking for Mohave / Synergy Confirmation

Looking at the fine print on Synergy's website, it will not fit the Mohave or a Sahara with a diesel engine. Unfortunately, I realized today that it also won't fit a Rubicon with a diesel. There is a tab welded to the coil bucket that prevents the holes from lining up. The tab could be...

  17. Took Delivery of Your JT? Sign in Here!

I would agree on the Tacos. I traded in a 16 Tacoma for a 21 JT Rubicon because of the backseat. I loved the Tacoma, but the kid was to the point she was starting to sit sideways in it. Really looking forward to some fun trips in this though.
  18. Bypass Oil Filter System on your EcoDiesel?

I installed the Filtration Solutions on a Ford 7.3 years ago. I can honestly say, at least the Filtration Solutions one, does work. They don't run all the oil through the filter with each pass like a typical oil filter. They pull only a certain amount of oil (if I remember right it's like...
