Don’t really need wheels or TPMS.
Open to buying with black or Rubicon/upgraded wheels already mounted if reasonably priced.
Willing to drive 90 minutes for pickup
You’ll feel and hear the difference with 4WD engaged while turning. It’ll handle like crap and not feel right if you’re on asphalt vs a loose surface where it’s needed. You’ll get the hang pretty quickly of when you need to throw it in and out of 4WD as needed to maintain proper control. if...
Yes. I love the setup on the gladiators shifter for this and have been playing with it since I got it in prep for the snow and just for funsies.
I originally wanted a manual but my wife and I both disliked the clutch bite. It does everything functionally that I would with a clutch without...
I had tight bouncy steering on my Sport with stock 31’s for the first fee hundred miles. Very annoying until I read a post suggesting to check my tire pressure. Dealer majorly overfilled all tires at 40lbs. Door spec is 36. I dropped it to 35, drives a ton better since.
Other than that...
Mine’s happened a few times now. It happened most recently when an iphone just connected to it. Music would start to play, then got choppy and crashed.
i have just under 3k on my Sport S. If it keeps happening I’m going to bring it up when I go in for my 5k service.
The rebooting doesn’t...
I just bought a rubi take-off, but I really like the Sport ride. I keep reading that the rubicon ride is stiffer and floats more on the road so I’m considering doing something similar... getting the Daystar 1.5 level. The Fox shocks seem a lot longer than the Sport. Do you know if you’ll...
Ahhh, this must be the one for the Colorado! I need to call them then and find out what the difference between the CS and CS-F1 is, aside from a few hundred $$$’s.
I have the slack on my handles on my Sport S. It seems to be by design. I noticed it, but dismissed it once I saw it just seems how these handles work.
not seeing any of the rest after 2500 miles so far.
Lookin at a rubi take off myself. Did you end up with a height increase vs stock Sport S? Any downsides if you like the Sport S suspension already after the switch?
Yeah. I like the diamondback HD. But I often need/want to remove the whole cover. I’ve had a ram will a roll-in/metal top for 13 years. Getting the cover out of the way to dump rocks, mulch or even load big items is a must for practical purposes. My only regret has been not having a rack...
I am hoping for Bakflip or someone else to make one of these to fit the gladiator. I emailed them a month ago. No answer :(.
Until then I’m making due with the colorado roll bargain roll-top.
I did what this guy said. I liked the Rubicon height/look. But not ever going to hard core mud or rock climb and didn’t need the added features. Never did in any of my other trucks. Just needed a new truck. You can always lift or add a leveling kit later on a Sport S plus bigger tires...
Will this make any difference on a stock Sport S? Or is this more for people who’ve lifted or run oversized tires? Not really dissatisfied with the steering right now. Drives like a truck.
