Has anyone heard of or know of a company that sells "Overhead Consoles" that fit the Gladiator?
Does anyone have one, and willing to share pics? Do you think a Overhead Console from a JK would fit, not sure of the specs..
Looking to find one hopefully before Dec. 25, any help would not go amiss.
Thanks for your time.

Depending on what you wish to do with it, perhaps an overhead molle panel would do the job. I have one in my JK to hold my ham radio. In the JT, I have one setting in the garage to install (been busy with other mods). I plan to mount a GMRS, CB and ham radio (2M/70CM) to it. Here's a photo of the JK install, with a DC to daylight ham radio and HF antenna tuner. Radio is controlled over Bluetooth by a Nexus 7 tablet mounted just right of the forward center dash area.

Here's a better view of the JT install. It takes four self-tapping sheetmetal screws. I didn't care for having to drill the pilot hole into the area right behind the sensor for the adaptive cruise control. There's an electrical connector right there--be very careful. Other than that, mechanical install of a 2M/70CM ham radio (KG5LXN, in case you're interested), a GMRS (WREN924) and a CB is complete, along with bus bars for primary power from one of the OEM aux switches.

Dry fitting (to determine where to drill holes to mount gear), but you can see how the molle rack mounts ...

So none of the mounting locations are existing bolt holes? Does this extend into your head room for the driver or passenger? I wonder if the sensor cover can be removed for drilling to avoid the problem.

No screw holes; it's a standard molle panel. And it doesn't affect my head room, but it may a taller person if he were to lean over the center console (I'm about 5'7" now).

How much space is between the molle panel and roof panel?

That looks awesome. One thing, it doesn't look it will be compatible with the Bestop Sunrider, which kinda sucks.

Edit: looks like they have a rear version

Yes, I was 5'8" back in my younger days. I'm 70. If my dad is any indication, he's about 3" shorter than his younger days at age 92.

This is a soft top. Top of ruler touches fabric, reaching slightly above the rib ...

I'm surprised you did not remote mount the radio with just the head unit mounted to the panel? That is way to much over my head. I would be very afraid, in a rollover, that I would be hitting my head.

That looks like a Yaesu 857D? I see you have an LDG antenna tuner? Did you not buy the Yaesu ATAS-120a antenna? What are you using for an antenna??

Just curious, I'm looking to buy that radio next month for the JT. It has been discontinued by Yaesu.
