Just a thought and something I did to with my previous JLUR on 3.5” w/37s and my current JTRD on 3.5” Clayton w. 37s is to adjust the garage door opener so that it fully opens. I was able to reduce any anxiety about parking in the garage by just making the simple adjustment. Below is a picture with my JLUR with the Skytop open. The 7’ garage door is parallel to the ground.

You’ll know it when you hit it going in.

Clunk - Reverse
No Clunk - proceed ….but slowly.

I drive into a 6’ 8” garage everyday. I have a couple of inches of clearance except I have to keep an eye for for the damn exit signs.

One thing to note, as someone who worked at an architectural D&B firm, for nearly 20 years.. and had to visit a LOT of those low 6'6-7ft" garages: Sprinkler heads are mounted only the original drop down distance... so if they're claiming 6'5" on the heads, I'd be VERY wary.

Depending on if the system is primed or not, you can get occasional sag in the line, causing the heads to droop an inch or so, AND if there is ever an extension repair on the head, you can expect another 1-2" (depending on how lazy the repair is, and local building code)

At 6'2", I've scraped my head a few times on those cruddy things.. there's absolutely no way I'd trust that they were installed to code enough (and mounted and reinforced while the system is primed) to risk my roof on a garage that low.

Just my 2 cents.
