The owner Tim is a great guy, awesome welder and fabricator and has been doing it a long time. Not sure where you are in NJ in relation to his shop but definitely worth checking out. I don’t use Facebook but I know they update it pretty regularly.
Unfortunately I doubt it, they want to give you the least amount possible, put as little into it while making it look as good as possible and sell it for as much as they can. Dealers make more on used cars than the new vehicles.
Yup, ats/mts should be rotated 3-5k miles. Not once a year/10k miles when you get your oil change done. I don’t know how many sets of tail boss duratracs I took home and sold for 150-250 bucks because people thought they were shit but only rotated once a year. (Chevy dealer)
I installed the steel version on both my wife’s JLU and my JTM, it bolted right up but I did have to swap the fog light harness over. Also to make it work with the Mojave skid plate I had to trim off 1/2” of material. It’s now back on her Jeep and the powder coating is starting to show spots...
Nice! Grab a set of mopar extender Lcas, they’re under $100 and make a big improvement for only being a little bit longer. Worst part is getter them torqued down haha.
Tell them you want 18k and if they don’t agree leave, then just wait for their call in a few days. They will have a paint less dent guy come and pop out the ding and a mobile interior guy come sew up the seat. After an oil change and crappy detail they’ll throw it on the lot for 22k. I really...
Had all of mine done on my dime, out of warranty but I worked for a dealer with a body shop. They painted the doors with the hinges off, painted the back of the new hinges then put it all together for the clear. Hopefully it doesn’t come back
I took my windshield out after the 3rd in 1.5 years of owning it. I just wear my snowboard goggles now. All jokes aside yes, a downfall of driving a brick. My wife’s gorilla glass seems a lot better, has a few chips but no cracks yet.
