I’m thinking of picking up a set of 37’s for my Sport S. Tow package and 3.73 gearing. Can it handle it? I’m assuming I will need to lift it a bit. What would the recommendation be? A full lift or a spacer kit? It is my DD and sees very little off-roading, mostly dirt trails after it rains to...

Nice looking Jeep, dude. So did you opt to keep the factory shocks? If so, have you noticed any difference in ride quality? I’ve been eyeballing the day star stuff (specifically the 2” space lift) and plan to keep the factory shocks. I’ve been reading mixed reviews on the Daystar stuff but...
Good to know...I live near the coast also in flat Florida. I miss the elevation changes but I suppose in this case the lack of hills is a good thing! Would like to see what your setup looks like if you don’t mind showing it off!
I have the tow package (NOT max tow) on my Sport S. I don’t have any trailers to tug around and won’t use the bed for any heavy duty stuff- just the typical home owners project, honey-do list, and maybe dirt bikes when my kids are a bit older.
I really want to lift or level it some to possibly...
Yeah that’s probably the way to go. I’m figuring as long as they’re all lashed together and secured they won’t slide out but thinking about that half position on the tailgate made me curious as to it’s weight limit.
So this is more of a hauling question...when using the bed to haul a load of, say, 2x4’s I think the gate is meant to be in the “half way” position with the cables tucked behind the latches. How much weight can the tailgate support in this configuration? It’s seems fairly beefy but if I need to...
Quick update to bump this to the top in case anyone else is shopping. Just bought my Sting Gray Sport S with Chase’s help last week at New Smyrna CJD. He’s doing 4% off invoice right now. It has the $3200 dealer package, tow, remote start, hard top and I was out the door for $41k.
edit: FYI he...
Towing isn’t really a concern. I don’t have a camper or a boat. My kids are interested in dirt bikes so two in the bed and possibly a small trailer for mine would be about all I’d plan on towing. Upgrading wheels/tires and maybe a leveling kit or small lift is tempting within the next year or...
I’ve been waiting for years for a Jeep truck. My wife knows this and has given the green light for me to get my dream truck. Initially, I was dead set on a Rubicon. I wanted most of the bells and whistles and didn’t want a project that I knew would take a long time to make my own. We have two...
