I went from a 3500 6.7 Ram crew cab with 6.5 bed. We lived in a 36' 5th wheel for 3 years or so, so the big truck was needed. Although a very comfortable truck to ride in, the height of the bed was a burden for me. I have a bad leg and had to install a ladder on the tailgate to get in and out...
My first and favorite was a CJ8, and then I owned a 99 tj, a 04 unlimited. After moving to Arizona, I bought a 98 se 5 speed to play with. And then I found my 05 Rubicon. And now I also have a 22 Gladiator max tow. And the wife owns a 18 jlu sport.
The wife and I and her sister and sister in-law went to a beer festival in Prescott over the weekend. The girls decided they were going to walk around Whiskey Row before the festival so I thought it would be great to go try a trail in the area. My stock max tow constantly amazes me on where it...
I'm really interested in your wheels and tires. I live in South East Arizona and it looks like Deming is halfway between us. If you still have them, I can meet in Deming on the 17th .
I'm in the South East corner of Arizona. There's a guy that has a set with at's with 500 miles on them in New Mexico asking $700. Thinking about buying those. I was searching Rubicons with the grey rims when I found your post. I like the look.
Thanks, I'm thinking about picking up some rubi takeoffs and putting my tpms in them. Not sure about leveling it because it tows our 5,500lb travel trailer. Don't think I want to go much bigger tire than the 285's. Don't want to start messing with gears. Thanks for the info.
Not new to the gladiator form, thought I'd add my Max Tow that was delivered to my driveway April 28th. Won't be doing any major mods other than maybe some rubi takeoffs. Since I have a 05 Rubicon for trails, the gladiator's main job pulling our 26' travel trailer.
