I've owned a 82' Srambler, a 99' TJ, an 04' Unlimited, a 98' TJ, and a 05 2dr Rubicon. I've always stared at jeeps. I've always wanted a Gladiator from the first time I read about them in a 4x4 magazine. Now I get to stare at my 22' Gladiator max tow every day.
I just received this exact set up and look and fit great on my max tow. Went to pick up our new travel trailer today, and of course it had issues that my wife and I decided they needed to fix before we would take it off the lot. I would like to thank thorn engineering for the quick delivery.
I just had my max tow delivered to my driveway the 28th and very happy with the way it sets. Gonna be pulling a 26' travel trailer that we pick up on Monday. When the Bridgestone Duelers wear out, I'll probably add a little more aggressive A/T tire. Really liking the way it sits.
You definitely want a sway bar distribution hitch. And you'll want to know your gvwr for the trailer, not just the dry weight. We're picking up our new travel trailer Monday. It's 25'5"-26'. The gvwr is 5,500lbs. Just had my new max tow delivered to my driveway Thursday.
