  3. am I doing something wrong in snow/ice Winter driving?

4 HI is the right setting for what you are experiencing. The lateral drag or some jerking and loss of power steering feeling you are experiencing is the driveline binding because all four wheels are engaged and moving at different speeds while turning. It is less noticeable at higher speeds...

I'm a long time Discount Tire customer and have always been treated well. I have never left one of their stores feeling disappointed in the products or services I've received. Is that the Apache Junction store? Looks like it and that's where I go when I need tires, an air check or some...

  8. Spring for an installer, or go for it and DIY for a bumper install...

  9. Spring for an installer, or go for it and DIY for a bumper install...

If you don't feel you can do a good job, and don't have the tools, then pass it on to a professional. I've always done my own work, even if I haven't done it before, but that's because I have the tools and a mechanical aptitude. One question I have for you is, if you do the install and it...

I got smacked by a small rock last night on the way home. I was on the freeway and passed by an exit where the secondary road was under construction repair. The passenger side light conductor runs over to the driver's side underneath the U-shaped top support of the bed rack. This area also includes the harness connectors for both cables. Then, the power conductor passes through a series of existing holes in the end flange of each top horizontal...

  15. Stupid ESS System

I used the Easy Stop / Start module on my JL and have it on the JT as well. It works fine and I've set it so that the ESS is off as if I have pushed the button each time I start the JT. I was a bit worried about the aux battery causing some problems regardless of having the ESS module installed...
  16. This is How Tough The Lifted Gladiator Can Be

It happened to Portland as well. I come from an Oregon Trail Pioneer family and we still own the original section of land that was homesteaded oh so long ago. It was a tough decision to leave but living there only caused anger in my soul. I was afraid that if someone took a shot at me, as they...
  17. Unfortunately I totalled my gladiator, can't believe airbags didn't go off

Other than some belt rash, a bruise or two and a sore ribcage I came out of it fine. It sucked losing that truck. I had really done a lot to it and had owned it just a couple of weeks shy of two years. Oh well, defecation occurs....
