Roll n lock with Yakima overhaul Hd. I wanted a retractable cover vs roll up, so I went with the roll n lock. If I were to do it again I’d drop some (serious) cash on the Leitner ACS forged rack and the EGR power tonneau. I don’t think it gets better than that.
Yakima Rack doesn’t have too many options for mounting gear so I DIY’d a Go Rhino gear plate. Came out awesome. This will be for recovery boards. I’m going to pick up another for the other side to mount various things too.
They use the OEM switches., that's why they look OEM. Also, these do NOT have the backlit feature like the OEM one's do. Z auto has not engineered that feature, yet.
OEM bumpers go for around $100 in my area. You will need to splice into OEM fog connector (big gray piece) if you want to use the fog light button inside the vehicle as most aftermarket LED's harnesses are not compatible with OEM connector and the ones that are compatible are expensive. I just...
With Jeeps ridiculous 2024 pricing, Jeep has killed off (most of) their existing customer base who would've traded in their current 2020/21 MY gladiators. An Overland to Rubicon in 2021 was about a $7k difference, now it's $15k-$20k difference. Needles to say, I'll be driving my Overland until...
I don't think the issue would be 'modifying the tonneau to fit the rack' but 'modifying the rack to fit the tonneau'. Some racks just aren't compatible with tonneau's. Have you thought about selling your fab four rack and going with a tonneau compatible rack?
Yakima Overhaul HD. You can purchase the tonneau kit 1 separately which allows it to be mounted to the roll n lock. I can post pictures later of my setup.
Why would you think anyone who is interested in BUILDING AND PRICING a 2024 gladiator would come to the forums first over Jeep.com… I would imagine new to jeep customers are not even forum members.. Jeep dropped the ball and your idea of what the “build and price” feature is for is way off.
Being lifted already affects your center of gravity, throw on a heavy ass cap over the truck bed and the rest is self explanatory. If you have a spacer lift and no additional components (shock extension brackets or shocks suitable for your lift height, corrected control arm geometry etc) I’d...
Decked with a Smartcap would be the way to go IMO. My tonneau has saved my gear from multiple rain showers while camping. I wouldn’t be able to go without some type of coverage over the bed.
