    35’s vs 40’s
  2. What did you HAUL in your JT today?

Guess I’m going to haul my spare on a tire carrier for a little while or at least on trips. Don’t like blocking the whole rear view. Probably just lay it in the bed with a cable lock. Either way the 13.50x 40 pretty much takes up all useable bed space.
  3. Let's see your 40" Tires!

Added a rough country tire carrier. Still on the fence as to whether I like the tire blocking my rear view vs just leaving the spare in the bed. Takes up the whole bed in either scenario.

  7. Shock Recommendations

Agree! very confident and comfortable at interstate speeds or on the trail. I’m at 70k miles on them and going strong. I like them so well that also went with the steering stabilizer. Pricey but money well spent for me.
  8. Bestop Soft Door Review

no updates that I’m aware of and depending on your need/use, not sure update is needed. I like these cause I primarily want to run doorless and have these on hand just in case. These are 2 pc and fairly light small package that can easily be portable. Keep in mind that I’m used to the 70’s-80’s...

We’ve resorted to steps. Ol Sam too old and Jeep is too high along with limited space for entry on these rear doors. He loves to go everywhere.

  15. Sad day. 1 down from fleet

Thanks! no way I can replace it for book value. used market is crazy and most of them in the book price range have been wheeled hard with neglect. Side note- all the stuff we put on to rub rocks and trees really do help out on the pavement too! Rock rails and steel bumpers made a lot of...
  16. My first of many 3D printed Jeep parts

thank you very much! Will dive into that one tonight. I’m not that savvy or high level of expertise but proficient with autocad industrial. Just need one that you can actually draw in and not just use predefined shapes. Thanks again and keep your creativity flowing and sharing your results with us.
  17. Sad day. 1 down from fleet

Sad day. Blackjeepjk was involved in a not at fault accident last week. Tbonned at 40mph. Aftermath of the original hit caused equal damage. Insurance just sent message that they are totaling. I get to keep the new set of bfg 10.5x34/17 and wheels. Only 1 of the 5 were damaged Also of note...
  18. My first of many 3D printed Jeep parts

Great work! What program are you using for the initial drawing? I’ve tried all the free stuff, tinkercad and sketchup anyways and can’t seem to get much flexibility. Looking at autocad inventor but pricey.
