Usually it turns the engine back on due to voltage requirements (voltage getting too low) or because of interior temperature / humidity (assuming you have the AC on)
Being in SC it made a lot more sense for me to go with the soft top. We get a week or two of below freezing weather so I'm really not worried about it being cold in the winter (plus, remote start....) but it's so much easier to just drop the soft top whenever I want. If it rains on your way in...
I think the cabin is small enough where it won't matter that much on orientation, but firing down probably would give you slightly better gain. I think firing up directly at the seat would be fine
Are you sure? I measured 11 inches from the front of the rear compartment under the seat to the bolt storage box. Mounting depth is the real challenge.
That's fair enough. I wouldn't use it in a busy city setting either honestly... I think too many people would try to cut in front of you if you can't get off the line fast enough.
You could just fill it with clear silicone and then put the new badge on top of it. This would ensure no water gets in there and it's easily removable if you ever need to. The new badge covers the holes anyway so it's no big deal
You people are acting like the stop-start systems are pissing in your Cheerios in the morning. Seriously, what does it hurt? Are you angry that someone can't hear your vehicle idling for 2 minutes at a stoplight? I haven't heard one legitimate argument that it's impeding daily driveability...
