You could just easily disconnect the power wire and fold down the windshield with the camera attached. Putting a camera in the grill would kinda defeat the purpose because you wouldn't get the full field of vision like you would if it was mounted on the windshield.
Did anyone have to drill vent holes in the headlight covers with drop in LED bulbs? I put an LED bulb on my Ducati and the instructions said it needed airflow.

ESS vehicles have a significantly more robust starter, and in the JT's case there is a separate battery dedicated to running the vehicle when the ESS system turns the engine off. The vehicle can handle it, but I can see your point about environmental impact (as this is a negative of electric...
A single sample / single user for this platform so far, sure. My salesperson told me he saw a 3MPG difference when he tried 3 tanks with it on, 3 tanks with it off. There is also TONS of data that shows that ESS / whatever a company calls it helps to save several MPGs per tank of fuel. It...
Yep, you can expect 2-3MPG easily with ESS. The only scenario when it bugs me is when I have the AC on and the engine turns off - at long lights it quickly becomes a little too warm in the cabin. Otherwise, I have no idea why people hate it with how fast it turns back on.
You'll have no problem selling that on here. I would have bought it immediately but I went with the Rugged Ridge folding cover instead due to availability.
I received my soft top bag from BJane Design yesterday - I absolutely love it so far. Fits very well behind the front seats and I figure I'll just throw it in the bed (under my tonneau cover) if I need to put someone in the back seats.
Has anyone upgraded speakers yet? I'm assuming all speakers are the same size as the JL but can't confirm that anywhere... I'm debating if I should just replace the tweeters (top of dash and in sound bar) or go with a full component setup.

Probably around 35% to match OEM privacy glass. Personally I'd put around 20% on the front and tint the rears to match the front. There's no heat benefit from the factory rear tint like you'd get with a good film
