Should be good weather Oscar!
We got the word Thursday and they had our steps on and ready to go Friday.
Nice trip and it drove pretty straight stock. Ran 80 the whole away and averaged 14.9 mpg with zero wind. Slightest incline and 8th is borderline useful. Got to love our altitude penalty...
Thanks Jeff
I ordered the JK versions with +4 offset versus the +25s JL/JT versions to set them just outside (.8") the fenders a bit and a little more clearance.
Added my own 316 stainless screws that took a lot of polishing!
Can you tell if the rear has the Teraflex/Falcon 3.3 piggyback reservoir shocks as well? Maybe a pic if you can.
They keep saying they will have them immediately after SEMA.
Thanks
Agreed OI
As you know I was toying with it for a day or so LOL but have decided to stay with 12.5s because of what you mentioned. Also, most seem to be E rated which is a ride concern as well.
I have been going thru similar decision making so just sharing thoughts.
My EVO 2.5 Enforcer Stage 4 Plus requires 5.0 "MAX" BS.
I believe 1.5" adapters would get you to appx -20 which should be plenty.
It will poke your tires out quite a bit though...
Trying it first may be the best as there...
Just an observation...
JCJL is looking at 38-40" tires.
You must consider the significant increase in rotating mass, rolling resistance, aerodynamics, etc.
Also you must consider the extra stress on the engine, tanny, and transfer case caused by the above.
The Penstar motor's torque increases...
Got to give a shout out here to Dillon's as well. They were $500 less and offered $500 more on our trade than Peterson. Dont think you can go wrong either way.
May want to use the calculator floating around here...
37s (36.5) with 5.13s turns 2226@70
39s with the same 2165@70
Stock Rubi 2035@70 with much less rotating mass.
Sound like your first two are much better choices.
Agreed! I am avoiding the tax man sorta.
My trade is more than the Jeep so no tax but they are giving me about $3.5k under market on the trade.
Kind of a wash and I dont have to deal with selling our current truck.
Oscar
Sounds like you may have a contact at BFG. I called and got a woman that didn't know that their company (Michelin) made KM3s and she simply read the specs off of the sheet that is online that seems erred.
I am interested in the #79851 (37X13.5/R17) vs the #39458 (37X12.5/R17) but I'm not...
