Call the guys at accutune. I was all set to get the Fox 2.5's but ended up settling on the 2.0's with their tune. Really like these both on & off road.
They said the 2.5's are awesome shocks but not really needed by most people unless you are doing lots of higher speed offroad.
Unless you are going to do a full delete I would avoid any diesel, especially if you do not really need more power. The emissions just kill modern diesels, my 6.7 is a beast now and the oil looks pretty clean after 5k miles, but I did a full delete
There are no cost savings with a diesel, yes...
We are thinking of taking the southern route thru Col Springs. I used to be stationed there back in the 80's, did a lot of Jeeping up in the mountains back then. Would like to hit up some of the areas we used to go, but I bet they are all gone now.
Thanks again for all the great info.
We are headed out the 2nd week in April and want to maybe hit a couple trails in CO, just not sure which route we are taking yet will depend on the weather out there.
Looks like more options for someone who wants to DIY are starting to come.
Looking to do something this spring after we get back from Moab. I have a hoist to lift the body off, can weld and do the work just don't want to be tracking down a bunch of small parts and stuff. I can source the...
Small ambers angled out with larger amber on the bumper. Spots on the A pillars with a good set of flood ditch lights. Best setup I have had on a Jeep and not too much.
I wanting to try to send mine thru a Tommy's, they seem wide enough and I run my F350 thru with no problems. The 60's on my Jeep make just and inch wider, we'll see this spring.
Our club was almost as bad controlled by old board members, only interested in trap and old school silluoette shooting. We started with pistol matches and getting younger people involved, it took a few years but now we have complete control of the club and it is growing faster than any other...
I run both pistol and tactical 2 gun matches, great fun and an excellent way to improve skills. In the last 2 years we have seen a large increase in new shooters, especially women, at our January 2 gun match we had 6 women shooting and the weather was not nice.
Sample stage from one of our...
Now I understand your avatar, that is where you are speaking from. Please Mr tough guy from NYC take pity on us poor weaklings that live in fear our whole lives.:headbang:
Rather short sighted thinking anyone who trains in self defense or carries a firearm is doing so because they lack self confidence or are just plain scared.
I would rather be prepared to not so much protect myself but to protect others that cannot, sort of the same reason I pack more tools and...
Wheels guns are making a come back, seeing more and more young shooters using them in competition. A couple guys I shoot with will give average semiauto shooters a beating in a match. A lot more work and the gear is not cheap.
