5.13 would be what I would do…if I was in your position. It may be the difference between the manual and auto, but my Mojave holds 84 all day long…I, too, love Texas’ speed limits:) If it’s windy, the mileage drops to around 14 driving like that. I have 35x12.5x17 on stock rims.

If it’s noticeably heavier, it will have to have special springs when you lift it as well. I guess the diesel springs might work?

Mine wandered more than I liked when I got it. Putting 35s on it and running them at 37psi instead of the 43 the factory tires were filled to has made a huge difference. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than my JK or LJ ever were.

I won’t be buying any electrics or hybrids until I have no choice, BUT, I am glad they are doing things like this. It means a bright future:)

Adding 35s at a lower PSI seems to have fixed my problem, ironically…

Not for me, but it’s interesting and might get some buyers that would never consider a Ford truck otherwise.

This sounds like a load of manure to me. I don’t trust dealers in general, and if it was me, I would find an aftermarket shop and speak with them. Lots of folks on here have regeared their JTs. I had a bad issue with regearing my JK at a dealer, so my response is influenced by that...

It would be interesting to see the PDF about idling. I have never heard of that, outside of my time in Europe, but I do live in Texas…

if I was good at welding, I’d make a couple of cases, but sadly, I’m not.

No issue on the Gladiator yet, but my LJ and my JK did it.

That might be what it is. I haven’t heard it yet without the radio on...
