Oh right on, lol I didn't even notice that from the op either... I was just throwing it out there in general, for the peoples ? haha.
Do think you gave a good suggestion, everyone should have one. 10 bucks and insanely handy for its purpose.
Lol... see. I got mine!
I think sometimes people get caught up and forget, a CAI is supposed to go along with other mods.
By itself, sure, negligible... what happens when combined with other mods?
Changing to diesel does changes quite a bit engineering wise though I could only speculate on reasons...
As far as the camera, pissed me off I couldn't get it on my willys sport but I thought you could on the willys sport S? Has that changed? They come with the black grille...
Maybe my trade in just had old brakes but I've been impressed.
Actually had to do a brake check during the test drive as I wasn't watching the light enough I guess... had to slam em... and came away thinking how great they were. Seriously thought wow, that was great stopping.
I agree with...
I routed around the battery and then under the windshield. From there you can slide wires under the backnof the dash intonthe glovebox or wherever else.
Found it to be much easier. I have the manual so no secret holes for me.
Couple pics. Fyi in the first one, those wires are completely...
Yeah, I'm with bear hunter. Whatever the willys has is plenty for me.
Seems a marginal improvement maybe depending upon your circumstances and as others have said, probably a waste if you think you maybe might end up wanting more height later on.
Great argument against globalization right there.
Trickle down costs plus the inevitable inflation from the what $11 trillion flooded into the economy....
Hold on to your butts.
There is a reason why used car prices are skyrocketing besides the chip shortage. There is a reason for the chip...
From what I understand, from reading here, it has Wrangler Rubicon shocks or rather maybe FCA Rubicon shocks, not Gladiator Rubicon shocks which are what, fox something or others?
Not sure about the springs. Maybe somebody will be bored enough to go look up their part numbers, I'm not there yet ??
Yeah....

Yup if they want it they'll get it. I hear ya.
I'm not talking about gate hop'n, code grabbing, tech wielding, red laser avoiding, super theives here.
I'm just hoping to mitigate the harm crackheads and meth addicts have on my life...
Yup. I come from a place where the junkies will steal your shoes then come over next week to sell them back to you.

I haven't done it but I read it is 2 bolts and is quick.
I usually just fold up and attach with the straps, haven't needed it totally removed yet. Sorry but it does come off and I'm told it's easy.

I don't disagree but my plan is to keep them off all summer, thinking the freedom panels on up front can help me make a nice, cold air/no sun zone.
Guess I could always just drive faster if I get hot. Haha
I'm a sport model sans S so an alarm would be a delve into technology I've deemed to be the literal devil so I can't go there...
Good question on if the alarm would help with this at all, no idea though. I'm guessing the stock alarm allows all kinda bum naps with the doors off, lol
Like the...
Oh right on!
So you are saying I can tighten them down and the plastic wedges won't turn... then go a step further and replace one with a specialty bit so it'd be a PITA to loosen. ..
Do I get it now? Sounds promising
Yeah, I'm not thinking there is gonna be a crime wave of it occuring or anything...
I'm more interested in making it harder for the would be, one off, opportunist, who just decided that its worth a try and his buddy might buy them, etc... whatever.
Why make it easy?
