  1. Stock Diff Covers

And on a previous jeep with a rear D44 and stock cover, i slid the rear diff forward over a rock and peeled the rear cover enough to have a slight gear oil leak. It is a thing
  2. Stock Diff Covers

The oem diff covers are quite thin. Darn confident in my AEV covers - they are overkill
  3. Keeping your Jeep shiny clean when parked outside?

A ceramic coating or ceramic hyperwax will repel dirt / dust. Some better than others. I've used mothers CMX hyperwax and loved it. Tried turtle wax graphene hyperwax and not a fan. The CMX is not "gooey" at all and repels dirt very well. Even running through a clean rain will make the jeep look...
  4. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

And just to be clear, that is poke with a 285/75 tire. Happy jeepin'!
  5. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

Sure thing - total poke at sidewall bulge is 1.5". Poke at tread shoulder is about 1" using my level as a straight edge and tape measure off the fender
  6. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

Update - the stock lug nuts will fit, and a typical non-impact "thinner" 7/8" socket will also fit to install them. However, the tire shop only had thick impact sockets and their 7/8" would not fit. So i bought a set of cheap lug nuts that are smaller just to not have any issue between standard...
  7. FIRECRACKER RED Gladiator JT Club

Impatient pics with dirty jeep and tire goo still on, but JK saltas and 285/75 KO2's!

    You're all wrong...... .... it's a flag nut!
  11. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

I just checked because i wondered if i needed a set too, but the oem lug nuts i have take a 7/8 socket, and that same 7/8 socket falls down into the lug holes on the saltas i got from aev with room to spare. So it looks like the factory nuts and a standard 7/8 socket fits fine. Makes sense, as...
  12. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

Thanks to all who took the time to help me out! More than 2/3 for satin black, and after i added my wife's satin black vote and my 8-year-old's satin black vote, they went satin black today. Part of me will always wonder about the silver though..... thanks again!
  13. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

Edit - Yep, i'm getting 1 1/4" from the "seating" to the top edge it looks like
  14. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

Good looking jeep you've got there!
  15. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

Last comparison pic i have for black
  16. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

Love the savegres - they were on my previous jeep. When i got the gladiator, the red jumped out at me yelling "buy me buy me!" So i did. But in hindsight, while i still love the red, it's a little "loud" and a little "sporty." I think the savegres are also "sporty" looking, so going with...
  17. Silver or Satin Black Saltas?

That's right, $150 per wheel for the silver JK saltas. Lug holes look enlarged for JL/JT - i'm going to test fit a lug nut soon to confirm
