If you can be patient, wait for Black Friday.... Diode said on another thread they'll be offering their "best deals yet"... last sale was 15% off, so you can at least hope for that - which on a $700 pair of lights is $105.00 (half the price of the VOswitch you wanted to order!)
Your's is the best picture I've seen close up of the JL400. I've been eyeing this one, but I wanted something with replaceable labels. I was thinking of using my wife's Cricut to make my own because I confirmed with VOSwitch that the other labels (like for the JL300) are not the same size...
I am not sure how much it costs as I'm still under the 60 month trial. I use it all the time for the weather maps and forecasts. It also will show gas prices nearby, movie times, sports scores, etc but I don't use any of those. I'd pay $2.00/mnth for it, personally.
If I didn't have the AUX switches I'd go with one of the VOswitch options (and you get custom labels which is one thing i WISH we could do on the MOPAR ones)

For lighting, I (think) am going with a pair of SS5's...
Awesome, thanks! I saw the SS3 lenses but I completely overlooked the SS5 ones (I just found the right link ?‍♂️)
I'm looking forward to the BF/CM sale coming up and will absolutely be ordering a pair of the Pros. One last question for you before I do. I am looking for an amber light for...
Sorry, my question wasn't very clear! What I meant was, if you buy an SS5 Pro, for example, with the Driving configuration can you switch it to Flood, etc by changing the lens, or is it a completely different unit?
Thanks!
I have 37x12.5's on stock Rubicon rims, mounted by @Discount Tire . @hawkijon also has 37's on stock and wheels pretty heavily. 35's should be no problem.
I run mine at 29 psi
So.... no word from the dealer all morning so I started dialing. Finally got someone live and was told a new TC is on order. The TC won't be here until the middle of Nov so I brought it home until then.
I'm not 100% confident on the repair notes here, but for the rear (which is still making...
I'll also add that the stock Falken AT/3's (33") measured 32" under load when I got the JT from the dealer. The size in the PCM (when I reprogrammed it for my new tires) was 32.7" from the factory.
I know this is controversial, but I have never had luck with the "measure the height" method. For instance, when I upgrade to 37's (also KO2's) I measured the height at 35.25" under load. Using that measurement, my speedo was WAY off. I slowly incremented by 0.25" (which I think is the minimum...
I guess it depends on how much you need to cut, honestly. I've used a hot knife with good results, and I've used a dremel, too.
If you're talking about shaving off a few mm, a cutoff wheel on a dremel might be perfectly fine, you just need to watch the speed.
I would test whatever you do in a...
I have not done it, but I have made other modifications to plastic parts with a similar tool. The only advice I can give is to be very careful: the high RPM of a dremel will likely melt the plastic instead of "sanding" it like what you want.
Since you're likely out of warranty with a 2020, you can fix this yourself. I looked in my youtube history because I know I found one for a JL and the same procedure would apply to your JT (I didn't find it).
You just need to remove a small part of the center console so you can get to the...
Try removing one end of the SS and see if you can compress and un-compress it by hand. If it moves with little resistance it's shot... you could have smacked it on a rock and lost fluid.
Or done this... but this one was pretty obvious
Interesting....
So, I just got back from the dealer because the service tech could not reproduce the noise(s). He told me the noise in front from 4WD was the TC and all the new ones "are noisy." I had a JL with basically the same and never heard the same noise.
Went for a test drive... he...
Actually, I have the same problem with mine, but all I do is replace the batteries and it's back.
Seems like a weird symptom for a low battery, I know... but, every time I replace the batteries they work (and they are bright AF - you don't realize how bright until you put new batteries in!)
