Sorry, my question wasn't very clear! What I meant was, if you buy an SS5 Pro, for example, with the Driving configuration can you switch it to Flood, etc by changing the lens, or is it a completely different unit? Thanks!

I have not done it, but I have made other modifications to plastic parts with a similar tool. The only advice I can give is to be very careful: the high RPM of a dremel will likely melt the plastic instead of "sanding" it like what you want.

Actually, I have the same problem with mine, but all I do is replace the batteries and it's back. Seems like a weird symptom for a low battery, I know... but, every time I replace the batteries they work (and they are bright AF - you don't realize how bright until you put new batteries in!)
