Or park on an incline. (Edit ^ beat me to it)
It's odd to me that much would collect there at all (being open ended), much less all dump when the door opens.
Eh, I skimmed and misread. I can say that I'm not getting water in the truck anymore. The gutter on the freedom panel lips dumping into the truck hasn't been an issue. And it's been a monsoon here this fall from all the hurricane rains. I wonder what makes one truck do that and another not?
I grow a few varieties of cayenne, habenero and dragon in my garden each year but my better half has zero tolerance for heat. I make us each separate wing sauces each Sunday for football, and still put some fresh ripened peppers on my own homemade pizzas and such. End of the season is upon us...
Hit me up if you don't find any. I bought a set and it arrived right after my wife ordered another set for me. Didn't have the heart to tell her and I'm terrible at returning things.
That looks great! I've considered debadging mine, and always hated the obvious outlined Gladiator sticker decal. Never understood Jeep using that when it's so easy to print one without an outline. I picked up an 80th anniversary plate I replaced mine with.
Said I'd update with a photo of a full size 1911 and 4 (stacked) mags inside of this safe. Definitely fits and could hold extended mags, within reason. Here it is:
I didn’t drop the control arms. Just wasn’t comfortable trying that in the parking lot where I work with no way home. I’ll revisit this project soon though.
I had no idea that thing was there, and I inspected the truck pretty dang thoroughly. Just checked it out on mine and it kind of doesn't look like it's meant to be removed. Still gonna stick a couple of 20's back there. I'll take my chances that anybody who might break in won't have seen that video.
I probably will take Roy's advice and bore out the holes more, but my confidence is low that it's going to go easy even after I do. Sent one set back for that issue; these looked to line up right so sent them off for powder coat, and now they wouldn't go on without modification either.
Tried to mount a Rusty's LCA skid but had to Jerry rig it. Outside of the rear diff skid from Rancho, these skids have been a huge hassle. Nobody has the correct supplied bolts, holes drilled out wrong, nothing but running into walls installing simple bolt-on parts. But I cranked the one bolt...
Man, this LCA skid has been a pain! Certainly not as easy as the front and rear diff. I really don't see how anything is supposed to get behind there. As mentioned in an earlier post, the holes didn't line up on my first set of skids. I got the second set back from Rusty's and the holes appeared...
I don't have upgrades covered, but when shopping around Progressive was literally half the price of Farm Bureau (who I'd always been with), State Farm, Geico, and others. They would have been my last choice just based on the name, too.
Got a new vehicle gun safe today. Did research to the point I agonized over what to get, but wound up deciding on a Vaultek. $300 and fingerprint, smartphone, or combination open. Also has a backup key and security cable. Fits a full size pistol and 3-4 mags. I'm charging it up overnight but may...
I've been researching vehicle gun safes since I got my Gladiator and finally settled on one. Got my new Vaultek today. I've laid my hands on several cheaper pistol storage solutions, but some had hinge pins that could be pushed right out or were otherwise easily compromised if you had 10 minutes...
Pretty much the exact opposite of my own tastes, but the video was a fun watch. Just seems to throw money at a lot of the worst places. It doesn't even look like a Jeep anymore.
