    Ok, open the app called vehicle settings, then choose car settings, then scroll down to Vehicle equipment selection and then choose OEM in the MIC Select option. See attached screenshots.

    It has been a while since I first setup CarPlay. You have to wait for the verification and you should get a pop up on your phone to allow permission. I will go check for the mic setting. I just got out of a work meeting.

    I don’t recall off the top of my head. I believe it is something like CarBT. But, you can open the Bluetooth screen, then go to settings and it shows the name and code there.
