What vehicles and/or axles will the Ring/Pinion out of the Gladiator fit? I know it's a M210/220 front/rear. Will it only fit those specific D44's? Asking because I am wondering if I can sell the 3.73's that came out of my JT.
Thanks.
Was at dealer for first oil change yesterday. They had 3 (Gobi, Gator, Red ) hardtop Rubicons. And 1 White Mojave. After a good Look over. I would take Rubicon all day over Mojave. Much more machine for the money.
Had the JT 5 months and 5000 miles with the only issue being the replacement of a front diff pinion seal. It was related to the gear replacement though. So zero issues from factory so far.
I'm towing about 4600# loaded ( 4000# dry) travel trailer. 35" tires, 488 gears, Auto. I am maxed out on power in the hills of WV. Suspension is fine with Weight Distributive, anti Sway Hitch. Just lacking on the power.
I have 35" Falkens and 488 gears. Towing 4000 pounds through the hills of WV ( as high as 3600 feet ) I was down to 4th in the Auto, @ 4800 RPM to hold 60MPH. Can't imagine how bad it would have been with 410's, or pulling 6500#.
Can't say because I never towed with the stock suspension. I will say that the truck felt to me like the lift actually made the suspension stiffer. (My JT is a Overland with tow package.) I did not set this hitch up. It was done for me by my Camper dealer. This hitch set up was on my 2018 1500...
While they were working on my JT, the Jeep dealer gave me a brand new JLU Sahara with the 4 Turbo/Auto to drive. Had it over a week, put 800 miles on it. ( Little trip) I was impressed. With the 373 gears it had more low end torque than the 488 JT, and I got 23 MPG with it.
I ran two tanks of gas through it before Tires/Lift/Gears were added. Stock 373's and Auto I got 20.5 MPG on both of those tanks. So yeah, I'm happy with what I'm getting now.
