Has anyone done this (just the clips) and discovered any “gotcha”s / issues, perhaps when putting it back in?
Also, do the removed headrests fit in the under seat storage area/bin?
Hey. No, I'm trying to buy a Gladiator in the next week or two and am trying to make sense of the Nighthawk vs Sport S vs Willy's beyond the stated specs. I don't want a "street" Jeep, and with the rims and "sport suspension"-- and the just so suspiciously low MSRP's had me wondering what the...

Window sticker from a 2023 Willy's Diesel with tow package lists this under tow package line items:
Trailer–Tow Package $1,195 Class IV Receiver Hitch Trailer–Hitch Zoom
Window sticker from a 2023 Willy's gasser with tow package lists this under tow package line items...
It gets weirder when you look at the owner's manual chart and see that a Diesel Overland is 40 square feet with or without a tow package, gas OR diesel, yet trailer weights are different... that a Sport S gas is 40sq ft / 4500lbs and a Diesel Sport S is 40 sq ft / 6500 lbs.... that both...
I've looked around this forum and found one mention that there is no functional difference on the diesel, just the hitch and wiring. Is this true? Is there any written proof of this?
I'm attaching the 2023 Stellantis Specs showing the diesel only has one tow ratings listed, but I'm also...
I saw a chart in here somewhere that supported this in terms of limits by weight, but the frontal area of the trailer was reduced without the towing package (from I think 55 down to 40). BUT, I came here like you to find this information. There's a great deal on a leftover Willy's diesel but...
Does the Willy's sit higher than the Sport S due to its suspension (in the same way some people buy Rubicon suspension take-offs?), and is that why the Sport S might rub on smaller tires than on the WIlly's?
Has anyone figured out if the "sport suspension" on the 20's ... does anything? My wife's SUV has 20" and it's a rough ride, but nimble. Curious if the same is true here. People often say the Mojave w/ its big shocks rides the best, and the Rubicon the worst, but I haven't heard anything yet...
Thank you. Would love to see a few more if they're out there. Just found a great deal on a 2024 Nighthawk but it has a side decal I just couldn't live with and would want that removed ($400 for nothing, yet cheaper than other options). Waiting to get a pic of that sticker.
What do you folks have on your payload stickers inside the Nighthawks? Manuals are saying 1150 but I'd like to know what's on the stickers "in real life". I just had a dealer send me a pic of a 2024 Willy's and it was 893 pounds payload! (four 200lb dudes= 800 pounds, so you could bring a total...
Check your payload sticker, I just got sent one on a 2024 Willy's (I'm trying to buy) and it was 893 lbs. That's four 185lb people leaving about 150lbs for gear and tongue weight. Just not usable for my needs.

The spec chart is less detailed than earlier years. They only show a Sport w/o tow package at 4500 and Max Tow at 7700 (though with the 1725 payload, previously not available at the same time-- used to be an...
Just posting a dirty "trick" I just found on the Jeep builder. The Max Tow Package ($1995) requires adding the Trailer Tow & Aux Switch Group ($1295), so it's a minimum $3290 if you want Max Tow. Unsure if this is old practice, but it's a d*ck thing to do. This means the cheapest Max Tow on...
Is there any reason to worry about 2023s still on the lot, in terms of "lot rot" (rubber, gaskets, gas, mice, batteries, etc.)? Would a diesel have any weird diesel-specific issues for sitting that long? A 2024 in 2024 seems fine, but a 2023 coming into 2025, seems ehhh might have some...

Anyone know when they'll hit the lots? My car got the death sentence today-- a $3400 repair estimate for a laundry list of things (full exhaust, axles, brakes) in time for the Sept inspection sticker, and I was trying to hang on until bikini, which now looks like might not even happen ("late...
