Just got a 2022 Willys with the 255/75/17 BFG M/T tires.

I live in the Seattle area. I don’t go to deep snow often, but I need a tire that works in the snow and our wet streets. With 300 miles so far, they seem okay in the rain.

I would love opinions on how the M/T tires do in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks so much!
It rained heavy the first week I ran these tires in Atlanta, given they were brand new with deep tread, I could drive as fast as I wanted, as if the pavement was dry, no issues at all. My only issue is they are too loud and I don't need the M/T, so going to go with an A/T with quieter treads

I am looking for take-offs, there's a fair amount for sale in the Atlanta area, most come with wheels though and I really don't want the wheels (like the Willys ones better), looking for tires only.
I have a friend locally who every 30k miles buys a new set of take off wheels and tires and then sells his complete wheels and tires.

He takes about a $500 hit every time. Its brilliant.

Does the Willy's sit higher than the Sport S due to its suspension (in the same way some people buy Rubicon suspension take-offs?), and is that why the Sport S might rub on smaller tires than on the WIlly's?
