I will say, after I posted my message (while still at the dealer) the actual service tech came out to talk to me. He said that for MY22 it may not even work because the entire TPMS system has changed. There is no longer a separate TPMS module, but it's now incorporated into the...
No luck at the dealer. They enabled the LA5 sales code and said "it worked" but then said it was a $150 charge to keep it on. He said the TSB doesn't help because it was not for MY22. He called FCA and they told him it was an optional feature not on every rubicon, but I stepped through the...
That's not right... as long as you're a member for 30 days you get the discount. I joined early November and mine was honored on 12/9 when I picked mine up. If the dealer is telling you otherwise, either they're misinformed or they're trying to do something shady...
I will be installing a 2" MOPAR lift in the next 2 weeks. Will have Rubicon take offs available (shocks, springs, LCA's, links, etc)... I'll create a new post when they're ready, but if anyone is interested "pre-sale" feel free to PM me.
35.25" at 39 psi to be exact ?
I did not buy a 37" spare... will very likely get a cheap, used 37" for that. You can use an undersized spare, unless you're on the trail and locked the axle (then it's a REAL problem). I've read that 37" should (barely) fit... you could always deflate it...
For sale, Four (4) still new 33” Falken Wildpeak AT3W (LT285/70R17) in the 116Q C1 load rating. These are the OEM tires on the Gladiator Rubicon and were taken off with 11 miles on them. $550 takes all four (retail price is $980 + tax). I have the 5th one on as a spare, but if you want 5, I’ll...
I have an appt at the dealer Monday to get a minor build "glitch" fixed and asked about enabling the LA5 sales code. He said they could do it, but I don't know if it will work with the sensors on the MY2022 JT. I guess I'll find out!
I tried JSCAN and had no luck.
... maybe the confusion was when I said "backed it down to 30 psi"... I meant the setting in the PCM, not the tire inflation. Those are at 41 for the moment.
My brain is not working right now, so maybe this will sound dumb, but I think the setting is the "minimum" PSI the computer wants to see the tires inflated to.
So, when I get on the trail and air down to 15 psi, I'll get the "inflate tires to 30 psi" message since I set mine to 30... until I...
