Misunderstood what your wind noise issue was, did not realise that it was sounding like an air leak - I presume it sounds a bit like a cracked window air noise then? Bit of a whistle/shriek? If that is the case I would agree it might be a mis-sealed freedom panel.

1) you are driving a brick on wheels - you will get far more wind noise then if you were driving something like an Explorer. 2) headliners might help deaden some of the sound.

Aint no such thing as dry heat in Iowa. Lived there for a summer. For a place no where near a large body of water, it sure was humid as all get out. I live near large body of water and it is no where the humidity of the mid west.

Lucky you - getting a return label. They sent me a box with the wrong item in it, I asked for a return label and never got one. Had to hassle with Fedex Ground to do return to sender. Did not cost me anything but was a hassle. Now I am waiting for the correct part to arrive.
