Wow! Ive always thought the normal hanging style handles were silly..theyd whack me in the head every time i would get in or out.
These are pretty friggan cool
? not the right thread for this brotha, dont want to unintentionally hijack it.
Also not a road worth going down given the already elevated responses to a pretty innocuous comment. Everyone just do whatever you can afford with your own Jt ?
70,500ish miles on mine.
Knock on wood no issues. But I honestly attribute that to learning from my last jeep and just not F-ing with the jeep engine / exhaust / or drive line. As well as following the recommended Maitenance…even when it seems silly.
@BAT
Here are some quick pics. weather changed and now its going to be raining during my drive home, so I went out while at work and popped em in.
The first three pics i left it sitting just in the door holes so you can see how it goes in.
I can also do a short video if that helps. Not...
whats funny is i was also thinking I will need to change the locks...but truly have no idea who the heck to go about it. for now ill be getting more covers.
I followed the install video by the evolving male fella on youtube. This location has been perfect for nearly two years. I can fit the pump I linked in there no issue, and its not in the way of my pump handle when filling up.
the airlift bags? I followed another members suggestion and use a bicycle pump and fill them before adding a load to the JT. works perfectly.
i use this one...
if youre interested in estimating shipping...I have two premium fronts i got from another member a couple days before I grabbed the half doors. PM me if you want and ill do some measurements and weighing for you to estimate the cost.
Ill snap some pictures for you when I can but the windows are actually really impressive. They have a plastic frame that keeps them steady. Once you adjust them they dont let in air or rain and dont flap and flop around like other doors have in the past. They have zipper windows on all four...
After getting a set from FB market I absolutely love these doors.
I prefer to run doorless, or tube door, most spring and summer. Having to always watch the weather is a PITA. Especially when it changes out of no where and you’re stuck either waiting for it to stop raining…or just suck it up...
First off..papa...youre the man!
I NEVER knew the whole battery cycle for new batteries. Very cool to know. With that in mine ive had two "cycles" so far. Ill keep an eye out and see of the voltage changes.
any idea where the "type" would be on the battery? Looking at the info on the NAPA...
Sooooo
swapped the batteries.
Driving in this morning the battery stayed at 12.7v the entire time. I was thinking maybe it would charge during the drive but it didn't... DId I mess up here? Or is this about right since the battery is a 12v battery according to the napa website info.
