My in dash meter only shows volts…so 4.2v and 3.8v. Does yours have a different reading?
It was floating between 3.9v and 4.0v the entire ride home tonight.
Also glad you have had good experiences with NAPA. I was happy to see they had both i needed, and at one site for me to pick up easily.
the adaptive learning would be unpleasant to reset after 70k miles haha. Im a huge fan of 20-22mpg all the time and dont care to go back to scratch. ill probably end up trying the battery tender and see if I can do that without destroying the gladi
I ended up ordering these two and will pick them up tommorow

im way outside my warranty period, and my extended warranty doesn't cover durable parts like batteries and brake components, and so on. So this one is on me.
ty.
I havent had any issues, yet. but this is exactly the sort of repair that makes me think Im about to unintentionally create a problem where none exists. But I cant risk the truck dieing with all the towing I do.
not sure honestly. I would imagine that, unless you tested them both and identified which one was shot...you have no real way of knowing for sure the efficacy of the aux battery. Id rather be safe than sorry and just replace them both so I know they are both good to go.
your PfP is incredibly appropriate for a jeep forum haha
I haven't looked at battery prices in a long time, but im more concerned with making sure it lasts another 70k miles than the cost associated.
Im at 70k miles and i think its time to replace my batteries. The last couple times I towed by curt app would say the battery was low. So I started watching it. Regularly the power would drop to 3.6- 3.8 while sitting at a light. But it would jump to 4.2 - 4.6 while driving.
After this last...

There are always folks selling theirs second hand. I got mine off ebay.
That cover resting against the window of my hardtop is exactly why I I pulled it off shortly after getting it. I have the Mopar soft rolling Tano, and it’s easily the best cover I’ve ever had.
I have the same thing, had it since 20k miles aswell. After 70k it still looks the same and doesn’t seem like the fabric is wearing out.
But ill personally be looking into new seat covers. I just can’t seem to find an answer on if putting in neoprene cover over your existing fabric makes the...
For what its worth, i just go by the on board oil life meter. That usually has me changing it between 6-9k miles depending my driving. I have noticed the interval is shorter when I tow more often. Happy the truck seems to account for that.
