I would be curious to see what the V6 in the RAM 1500 gets in terms of MPG (from real-world users not stats). That would be a 1-to-1 comparison for our JTs since it's the same engine. If we use that as a basis of % difference between the two vehicles. Then we could use that % difference...
Yeah, my girlfriend has a JL but hates forums, lmao. I pretty much do all the forum lurking for the both of us. Maybe I'll create an account over there too. I hate having to keep up with both but I really want to start finding other people locally who want to go out and wheel.
How come it's so dead in here? I see at least 5-10 jeeps every day (about 2-3 being Gladiators) in my long 5 mile commute to and from work every day but not much posting going on in here. I feel like SoCal is full of people like us that love these things but am shocked that there's not more...
Sorry to revive an old thread but I'm curious to see if anyone is running either of these kits from them? I kind of like the idea of the Sport II lift kit as I don't do crazy offroading but still see trails from time to time
I agree. If it came from Jeep as a factory option, it's on them to make this right. As Junkman said above, I feel like maybe it's time to use the "L" word with them and maybe Jeep will get off their butts. "Fix this or give me a brand new Jeep and take this one back".
Wow. I read your whole other thread and am shocked after everything they were doing to try to assist that they would just disappear. Disappointing for sure. Well, scratch that off my Christmas list. Thanks for the followup ShadowsPapa
I love thoughts like this. You also have to consider, what does AI even run on? Servers (MANY MANY of them), electricity, facilities, networks, internet backbones, etc, etc, etc. There almost no chance that AI will ever be able to build, maintain and operate all that on its own. There are...
Girlfriend is going to be buying these for her JL. We were literally just looking for something like this and I found this product! Looking forward to seeing them on there for her
That's a good point, I don't even remember that I have that offroad+ button most of the time but you're right, he should have been using that if we wanted to really test out the capabilities apples-to-apples. Every other vehicle got a chance to use its different modes.
Interesting video for sure. I do feel like if they wanted to truly compare "vehicle" capabilities, they should have put them all on the same tires just to keep that out as a potential factor in different performance metrics but really enjoyed the video overall
Went and bought a new Wrangler for my girlfriend this weekend and I inquired about this but the sales guy said it wasn't available yet in the order banks. He thinks it will probably be several months before it opens up
I am hearing the same thing with the windows down (but not up). I noticed that it changes in pitch while not moving and just turning the steering wheel. I'm guessing it is the steering pump?
I just switched this weekend out of a 21 Ram 1500 to my Mojave. I wrestled with this for a bit over a year. The Ram had more space, could tow more, could carry more, was more comfortable and more powerful but in the end, the Gladiator is just a different type of vehicle altogether. I thought...
Hi All. Been lurking on here the better part of a year researching, reading and learning. Finally pulled the trigger this weekend and I'm happy to say that I'm now a fellow Gladiator owner. Looking forward to the process of making it mine and taking it on adventures.
Thanks for listening.
Josh
I read somewhere that in California all trucks are being classified as commercial now. I noticed on my 1500's registration that it showed commercial as well. Wouldn't surprise me one bit with this damn state.
