The worst dealer was HBJeep. I purchased so many vehicles from them in the past. Dealer installed items are not optional to them anymore AND you cannot finance using your own finance company.
7.something is their starting apr without running a credit check...they can get it lower BUT you’ll...
@mx5red i had a different experience with Bob Baker in Carlsbad. They were upfront with me when I called because I went to 90% OC/IE Jeep dealerships, and only Bob Baker didn’t have any dealer installed items.
They did try to sell me added items but they told me that it was optional unlike...
So far I’m at 13.5mpg on my 35.75” (37x12.5r17) nitto ridge grapplers ALL STREET MILES on my first week since lifting/bigger tires. I do have the max tow package and I’m adding my Zeon winch/PS bumper tomorrow so I’m pretty sure it’ll go down some.
Going over speed bumps, I’m getting a clunking sound. After a quick look last pm, I noticed that the front trackbar was loose and they did not enlarge the bottom opening. Not sure if it’s needed since they were able to screw in the front TB. Thoughts?
@bill.john I thought the nitto ridge grapplers would be noisy too. To my surprise, they are quieter than my previous KO2’s. They are as quiet as the Bridgestone Duelers the Jeep came with. This is just my 2 day observation since installation though.
@BerardJT i was contemplating on getting Rubi fenders but u made my decision to keep my max tow fenders and get some AAL slim lights to do the fender cut.
That’s why I’m NOT going to the dealer for my first couple free oil changes. I’d rather pay and do it myself plus I can add the fumoto valve so next oil changes would be a breeze.
If I had a recall or something wrong that I can’t diagnose, off to the dealer.
The bumpstops directions are for a jk. Does it apply to the JT as well? I plan to do Rubi flares in the near future.
Last, did MC call before they ship? My cousin who had a MC lift before called for his shirt size before it was shipped.
