  1. Show me your Gladiators on 40's.

stock axles and 4.10’s. Was so undecided on what to go with that I decided to try it first. Glad I did. Will go with 4.88’s soon (March) More for towing the boat and getting to use all 8 gears. Challenges - getting in and out for fat boy, struggled to get tire sensors sync’d with 40’s but...

  3. Patagonia 40’s, door handles and ice

Yeah 2 feet of snow and below zero was probably powder and blew off but I get it. 1/4”+ ice don’t matter what entry system you have will be an issue.
  4. Patagonia 40’s, door handles and ice

My fender are getting eat up as well as door hinges front of hood, and windshield cowl. My tires tuck in pretty nicely with fuel lethals on 4.5bs but I do have larger bump stops to stop them right against the inner fender. I’m still on stock 4.10’s but will be changing to 4.88 as soon as weather...
  5. Patagonia 40’s, door handles and ice

The more I have time to reflect on the pat’s and Some of the responses there may be a couple of other factors. 1- How many miles on your pat’s? 2- mine at 10k and still have the vibration/bounce at different speeds that started around 7k miles, one of which falls in the 25-35mph hr range in...
  6. Patagonia 40’s, door handles and ice

The 40” patty’s and ice don’t mix well together. Almost feels like the tire is flexing a little and then zoom, there you go. Guess I’ll try some different air pressures to dial in a sweet spot if there is one. Door handles after freezing rain or road mist freezing to them. The design of handle...

according to the hypergeometric distribution theory, if you’ll run tires that are .7346 inches taller on the rear axle you’ll never notice it.
  8. Is this badge crooked, or is one of my legs shorter than the other?

  9. Toys?

I keep saying I’m about finished and then my ocd kicks in and I have to do something else to it. Hmmmm., not much different than owning a real Jeep! Anyways, still need to do a little fab work on rear bumper and hitch, license plate, paint fenders(when backordered paint arrive), paint the...

  12. Toys?

Yeah, I can already tell the mini king’s aren’t as good as factory axial but look better. 2nd issue, the china knock off fuel wheels won’t fit around portals. onward and upward! I’m going to get it as close as I can without spending more money. Heck. Most of this stuff, 1/10th scale, cost more...
  13. Tires got expensive!

Good catch! I’d rotate them in
  14. Tires got expensive!

i see 2 options. 1- buy 2 new ones now to match the 2 current new ones to put on when you wear out. 2- as you mentioned, rotate them in to wear all 6 tires the same. This should extend your current wear by around 35%

  17. Goodbye Milestar Patagonia, Hello Gladiator X-Comp A/T?

Same here. I was thinking it was due to colder weather on certain parts of the roads. Then thought it was just me. Had the wife with me this weekend and she asked what was wrong with it due to the bounce. My daughter said the 2 dr jk lifted on 35’s now rides better than my gladiator...
