I would tell those that are new to this defect to not get too discouraged. Yes it's frustrating if not infuriating and inconvenient as hell, however I can say that since the dealer replaced the def tank and heaters I've had no problems and it has been single digits to -20 since I picked it up...

Thats pretty much exactly what mine did. The dealer rushed it through the first time with no results but then the followup visit had it diagnosed the same day. Let us know how the conversation with FCA goes.

You need spacers or wheels with different back spacing

Where is it rubbing? Without more info I would guess adding wheel spacers is probably where I would start......wouldn't think you need more height for clearance.

Trade in value is always kind of a dance between what they "allow" for your trade vs the "discount" they are giving you on the new one. It is pretty much always true they don't allow much, if anything at all for your extras. Not sure if my trade experience last November is relevant at this...

Dealer finally got me a loaner so mine is back in the shop. They called and said one of the def heaters was bad. Gonna take a few days to get the part so will hopefully get it back in a few days

You'll be fine for verticle clearance and as long as your backspacing is right you shouldn't have any rubbing. You can always tweak it with spacers if necessary. you have plenty of power for 37's with the diesel without regearing.

the more frustrating part is the dealer "doesn't have a loaner", so i couldn't just turn around and take it back, have to wait for them to call me when they get their loaner back when ever the hell that will be. i swear jeep dealers in central iowa are the worst.
