Replaced the tow hooks on the RR Arcus. Looks much better IMO and closer to OEM. Still would rather have and AEV or Mopar but there are other mods I want to do more.

I don't recall seeing any other options much cheaper. They are definitely lighter but I didn't do a comparison. I would say they are 40% lighter.

Any updates on this??

Those are the ones I got. Just painted the loops red to mimic the OEM tow hooks. I like the bumper but really didn't care for the massive tow hooks. Make sure you are OK with what I said about using shackles. You could probably find other D ring mounts that stick out further.

Updated my RR Arcus today to make it look more OEM. I replaced the tow hooks with D Ring mounts from RR. I mentioned in another post that the eyeholes are too close and prevent a steel shackle from being used; however, I have confirmed a soft shackle works just fine.

Updated my RR Arcus taking a page from @TallGuy and swapped the tow hooks for some D Ring mounts. They are RR D Ring mounts. I like the looks but one downside is the eyehole is too close to the bumper and normal shackles won't fit. Pretty sure synthetic shackles will work just fine.

Pretty sure you will need to remove the bumper shell to install the winch. Even if you could manage to fit the winch in the opening, it would be hard to access the bolts.

After two long weeks, I finally got my JT back last night. We had a front blow in and it was very windy so I couldn't get a true feel for it. Very disappointed in the process, which originally started 9/2/20 when I first brought the JT in for the TSB. While I'm sure much of the delay was out of...

Just want to verify that the stock Rubicon wheels clear the swaybar links?

Yes...wasn't what I intended when starting the thread! Was simply a PSA for the long awaited bumper which turned out to be "not the right price for me".

Agree with the quality...not trying to bash on AEV. I still have the Nth lift on my TJ.

My JT has been there for 1.5 weeks. Just got a call that they don't have the right bolts and will have them on Tuesday. It will have been two weeks to do a 2 hour job! WTF!??!

Agree...most OEM looking bumper on the market not named Mopar. I want but can't justify it.

Nice. I thought about painting the tow hooks red on my Arcus to match the Rubicon. Any issues with those fog lights and your non-LED headlight system?

Dropped mine off one week ago today and am still waiting. Local dealer has had some staffing issues.

The AEV bumper starts at $1,800, but adding a winch mount and skid plate adds another ~$500, plus there are a few other options. I agree on the ARB, very similar looking (especially stubby) and much more reasonably priced. I am an admitted AEV fanboy though!

@TallGuy was able to modify his RR Arcus bumper to retain the red tow hooks, and it already accepts the factory fogs. I have the bumper as well but didn't do his mod.

Same here. My list was AEV RX, Mopar, ARB Stubby, RR Arcus. I currently have the RR Arcus and am trying to decide what to do, I like the bumper but not the giant tow hooks. I may try to replace them with shackle mounts to make it look more OEM. I still like the ARB Stubby as well.
