In Hawaii...I do not Jeep wave. Most all of them are rentals, not owners...I am not going to acknowledge their rental choice. Owners seem to "duck" just to prove they are owners. Ugh.
I don't care for a load of ducks on the dash. All that means is you don't go off road where you'd knock...
I drive a 2023 Sport. I too would like a steel or aluminum full width front bumper. My question fro you all: is the added weight really an issue with the suspension? I don't plan on mounting a winch up there but have tagged a fence post lightly and damaged the stupid plastic bumper end.
I am thrilled with my expensive memory module to keep stop-start from functioning. It even remembers after the battery has been disconnected for a couple months. Well worth the money. It isn't that I can't remember to push that stupid button it is that I don't want to every freaking time I...
Three years ago I deleted the aux and simply ran the aux cables to the main batt terminals. Been working like a champ ever since. I doubt that is the problem. Though I did attach the aux negative to the main rather than tape it off as this person did.
A good solution as well as just removing the Aux. I did and ran the cables up to the main. I didn't mess with hood switches or pulling any breakers or fuses. Been great for two years. I intend to buy a larger battery when the main gives out. I expect the main to go...no OEM installed...
I agree. The OEM's installs pretty crummy batteries these days. If those get 3 years feel lucky, then go get a decent after market battery manufactured with pride in the label and reputation. And despite posts to the contrary I happily removed the AUX batt right off after purchase of my...
Yes, I encourage you to delete the Aux batt. Nothing but a headache to have it. If you don't want to have to fuss around with it in the future and always be wondering about the charge or failure of two batteries-make it so.
I deleted, attached the aux batt cables to the main terminals and was...
Apparently so...from TSB:
" The cause has been attributed to a “manufacturing issue.” It affects North American vehicles only, according to the service bulletin (TSB-09-011-25). It appears to only affect “PUG” (Pentastar Upgrade) engines, and does not impact the Charger, Challenger, or 300."...
Safety not the issue? Maybe. Selling a now revealed defect is. What was the safety issue with the clutch recall: possible failures that could endanger the owner, how about that one? My engine s**ts itself miles from nowhere in the desert-now my life is in jeopardy. Heck, I could be...
