I just also bought a Gladiator Mojave in upper Oregon, what a long drive. Congrats! I didn't know I had to get it weighed, that helps me a lot, I will do that today before I go to the DMV.
After speaking to weigh safe, they think my 16ft airstream won’t have enough tongue weight, they recommend atleast 500 pounds of tongue weight.
In saying this what do you people recommend for a hitch with weight distribution that will support under a 500 pound tongue weight.
thanks.
Yes I researched everything before buying, that is how I knew my jeep was capable of towing the 16ft air steam.
Anderson WDH is way cheaper than the one I am looking at. I don’t want to throw money away at something I don’t need if some other WDH will work just as well.
I have the Mojave, not...
Thank you, I don’t mind driving 65 and under. I don’t plan on traveling far mostly a few hours. I want to be as safe as possible and make sure I have everything I need the first time. Appreciate all the responses
Seems the medium weigh safe will handle. “You can choose between spring arms for trailers up to 8,500 lbs or 12,500 lbs”
8,500 is double the weight I need, will this be a problem? From reviews people really like the weigh safe. I also like the analog weight display.
I am fine with installing...
Thanks for all the help so far. I don’t have the airstream yet, it is getting delivered on Tuesday.

thanks
Question, I just bought a jeep Gladiator, finally! I also bought a 16 foot Airstream Caravel. I just ordered a break controller for it and now I am wondering if I should get a weight distribution hitch. I don't have any experience driving a trailer and Airstream told me it was a good idea. From...
Seems as people are saying they are getting 24s for around 40k, I know this is a Mojave, just wondering if it is overpriced vs USA wide Mojave’s, thanks!

How long do I have to wait for the new promotions since this one is ending pretty much right now. Can anyone mention a few dealerships that are true to their advertised price, I have time now to travel anywhere in the US, any help would be appreciated. Looking for a nighthawk, Willy’s, or Mojave
This is the link to the car, it is as stock as it gets.

So I have been patiently waiting for prices to come down. I heard the end of the year was the best time to pick up 2024 models.
this one almost fits the bill. I want Bedliner and aux ports.
he said he would remove the Gap, since I am buying in cash.
