  1. Just put 315/70-17 KO2s on my truck. What size to enter in Tazer

I have the KO2 37" and set mine to 36.25 and it's darn near perfect. The 315's, I think, would be close to 34.25. The factory Falken Wildpeaks that came on mine were set to 32.7" for a 33" tire, and the KO2s are known for running small. So, I think 34.6 may be a good start, but I think you'll...
  2. TPMS in Factory Steel Wheel Spare?

I think he meant what was the difference in the TPMS sensors between model years....
  3. Steering/ track bar slight wobble

The "up and down" play is normal, although annoying. The play you DON'T want is side-to-side. If you can pull it horizontally and it moves but the wheels don't then you have a potential problem. Or, when you steer one wheel moves and the other doesn't move at the EXACT same time.
  4. 4WD issue at low speed

VERY common in 4WD when on any surface that doesn't allow wheel slip (unlike dirt, sand, mud, snow). As mentioned above, when you turn, the inside wheel is traveling less than the outside wheel (think of two concentric circles). This means the outside wheel has to essentially move faster to...
  5. Gladiator buyers - have you owned a Wrangler?

Still own 2 JK's. Traded my 2018 JLU for the 2022 JT. I REALLY wanted an AEV double-brute but couldn't afford the price tag on top of the Wrangler donor. When Jeep announced the JT, I would have pulled the trigger, but needed a new ride before they started production, so I bought the JL.
  6. Manual Transmission Engine Braking Issue (?)

Yes, this is a different issue but the tachometer "symptoms" are similar - revs up on its own with no pedal input from you. In this case, it's when descending a steep hill in 4LO and trying not to use the brakes, the throttle decides to increase revs to 3000 and the JT accelerates down the hill...
  7. Manual Transmission Engine Braking Issue (?)

Thanks for the reply! That whole paddle-shifter thread -almost- makes me wish I had the auto! Looks fun. Speaking of 392, there was one in my trail group over the weekend. We did some hill climbs and he waited for everyone to get out of the way at the top and just nailed it all the way up...
  8. Manual Transmission Engine Braking Issue (?)

Do you use hill descent control on your auto, or just "manually" adjust the transmission to the gear you want? Wondering if the same happens with HDC... Not that I have that on my MT, but curious.
  9. Next-level ducking? What y'all think

I can appreciate that. My daughter keeps a bag in her glovebox with little tags she hand made.
  10. Next-level ducking? What y'all think

https://driving.ca/auto-news/news/jeeps-are-being-ducked-and-it-all-started-in-canada I like the idea, but I agree that a dash full of ducks just tells me they don't pay it forward. It's not about collecting as many as you can, it's about giving them to the next guy/gal. If I had a choice...
  11. Manual Transmission Engine Braking Issue (?)

Are you running with offroad+ engaged or without? If this is intentional behavior for emissions, that's REALLY bad (and unsafe) for offroading...
  12. Manual Transmission Engine Braking Issue (?)

Appreciate the response, Nacho! Next time I'll try without OR+ and see what happens.
  13. Manual Transmission Engine Braking Issue (?)

Off Road+ was on I do not have any throttle mods (pedal commander, etc) if that's what you were asking
  14. Manual Transmission Engine Braking Issue (?)

Ok, so I've had my 2022 JT Rubicon 6MT for just over 8 months and FINALLY got to take it on the trails today. I had a 2018 6MT JLU Rubicon, so for the most part the same transmission/engine combination. Today when descending a couple of hills in 4LO 2nd gear I would be cruising just fine at...
  15. I Learned This Today - Thunderstorm Warning

Sirius TraveLink is the name of the "feature"... you get 5 years of it with the JT. The music part of SiriusXM is like 6 months. This is on the 8.4 radio, no idea about the others...
  16. STOLEN from my driveway this morning! New Jeeps are crazy easy to steal apparently...

If you have an OBDII adapter and JSCAN you can enable a feature that will sound the alarm when the hood is opened immediately. I enabled it on mine... and tested. Yes, they can cut the wires to the horn, but at least it'll get a blast or two out before they do. Maybe enough to deter them...
  17. Warn winch plate #101255 with a FACTORY steel Rubicon front bumper? YES, it can be done THANKS for the information

Nope, had to source them from Home Depot... who is perpetually out of them despite their website saying they're in stock ?‍♂️
  18. Warn winch plate #101255 with a FACTORY steel Rubicon front bumper? YES, it can be done THANKS for the information

I can 100% confirm Warn plate #101255 with the factory steel bumper works. The only issue is you usually need longer bolts for the fairlead to get through the fairlead + bumper + plate. Oh, and for some reason there is a global shortage on M12 acorn nuts... so my fairlead has one acorn and...
  19. Whats this light

Oddly enough, I installed a winch a couple of months ago and when I pre-tensioned the line and then started the JT for my next trip this fault light illuminated. Drove it to whatever store I was going to and when I started it again the light was off. Wondering if the draw from the winch caused...
