  1. So here's what concerns me!

If this idea scares you, you’d have to go way way back to avoid computers. But you could. Just enjoy your rig and enjoy the idea of a warranty. If it really bothers you, manage your ride purchases to warranty expiration. If that sounds ridiculous, then maybe the computer fear isnt as big as you...
  2. Lets see those 17" RIMS !

Fuel makes a great wheel. These are 37’s though.
  3. Project “Fools Gold”

I just wanted to say how cool and original your rig is. Love the little details and the equipment you’ve got is a really great mix of upgrades. The air tank is top notch!!!
  4. Mopar 2” vs Clayton 3.5” lift before and after

Pretty sure these are -12mm offset. No spacers they come in -12mm and +1mm. They have a little poke, spray a little in the wet, but to me its perfect edit to this i think my wheels are actually +1. Have not measured yet but i think the -12 would have more poke based on pictures i have seen.
  5. Lets see the spacer lifts

    Some good lookin jeeps here!
  6. Mopar 2” vs Clayton 3.5” lift before and after

The clayton stuff is top notch. Ride and handling have improved, nothing against the mopar kit. Good luck and tag me when you post pics!

+1 on going own way and bypassing the stealership. not to hijack this thread but while visiting in laws i had some time to go get first oil change at local DCJ dealer. All seemed well till i got home (3 miles) and noticed jeep was dumping oil everywhere. Not being familiar with the 3.6 as i...
  11. AEV Releases JT 2.5 DualSport RT Suspension System

Definitely a market out there for value lifts. Whether the springs are worthy of the price will just have to be shown. Agree that if overlanding with only minor to medium obstacles is the goal, this system could make sense. But if the system didnt manage loads any better than other choices, the...

Good luck man. Lots of good options out there with regards to steering components. The reason i went with the stuff i did was I liked the adjustability. Specific to the aluminum, i liked how aluminum remembered it shape. The tie rod can take 17-20 degeees of bend and return to original shape...
  13. adjustable track bar - Really needed with only 2" lift

I havent had any of those issues. Mopar lift caused the jeep to steer into the ground and the larger wheels caused the jeep to dance around. Very sloppy. Chose to have adjustable LCAs, track bar, sector shaft brace and stronger drag link, ball joints, tie rod and stabilizer installed. Aligned...
  14. adjustable track bar - Really needed with only 2" lift

ok man. Cool. You are right the c sections are a fixed assembly and in the case of the danas there’s no key or offset ball joints to change caster. My bad i slipped there. I’m not on the forum to start flame wars so thanks for sharing that based on your extensive knowledge an owner shouldnt...
  15. adjustable track bar - Really needed with only 2" lift

Toe caster and camber are all set on the relative position of the wheels under the truck. Straight one way 1 inch off center is a different setting than with wheels shifted. Ever seen a vehicle Dog track? This isnt quite that but an alignment certainly assures you are back in spec.
  16. *POP* Spiiiiiiiiiiiiin HOLY SH!*

Thats true, very robust stock setup compared to the old school. I owned a 91 and 92 YJ and a 2000 xj. None of those had 37’s and a gvwr of 6,000 pounds with front factory lockers either.
  17. *POP* Spiiiiiiiiiiiiin HOLY SH!*

+1 on upgrading drag link and tie rod. The stock one is like spaghetti on heavier equipment. I hate this happened to you good luck getting it straightend out
