I ordered my JTM on 2/14. It was issued a VIN and was built in less than a week. I honestly didn't expect it till early April here in NW Wisconsin. Contacted Jeep Chat on 3/11 and they showed in shipping stage with expected arrival window from 3/29-4/18.
The next day my dealer contacted me...
My family was real fans of Rambler/AMC products. Vehicle history is as such:
'59 Rambler American
'60 Rambler Cross Country Wagon
'64 Rambler Classic 770 sedan (my first car)
'65 Rambler Ambassador 880 Wagon
'66 Ambassador 990 Sedan (Rambler name no longer on car-Dad purchased new)
'70 AMC...
I did the same to get into my new JTM. Traded in a Ram that I owned for two and a half years. They gave me 4K more than I paid for it. Couldn't pass it up.
Several reasons starting with a fifteen year old model design and non-EPA friendly thirsty powertrains. The times they are a-changin'.
Even though the Challenger outsold the Mustang for the first time ever in 2021 (54,314 Challengers - 52,414 Mustangs) and blew out Camaro sales (21,893) the...
Thank you. I agree that these Mopars will not be around for very long at this point.
I ordered my R/T in mid-2018. It was model year change and it took three months to get it built and delivered. Worth the wait. Went old school as it was the last year for the Classic package with polished...
E-15 is only an option that I won't be using. Most smaller stations here don't even have it. All other choices available up to 104 octane racing fuel. ?
Just have 600 miles on mine so far. Averaging 16.8 mpg. Mostly open road 55-60mph (rural) driving. Sold the stock Falkens and went with same size KO2's. Running 36 psi. Burning 87 octane E-10.
I am hoping for a slight increase during break-in and warmer weather. Honestly, I would be happy...
Picked the Mojave myself for the ride quality, ride height, high front fenders, bolstered front seats, sport steering wheel and of course, that hood. I don't rock crawl so no need for the front lockers or sway bar disconnect. I've never had the desire for a diesel and have owned four other...
Love the Oak Creek Canyon/Sedona area. Lived in Prescott for 5+ years and weekend drives over Mingus Mountain were often. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful areas in the western U.S.
Very nice pics!
Why on earth deal with the issues related with Oracle taillights? So many previous posts suggest poor customer service, molds that don't fit well in relation to the body sheet metal, the additional cost of resistors (not to mention the scanners) and the games to maybe make them operate...
