I’m considering having a locker installed on my JT. The question is which axle? I don’t think I can afford both, so should I do the front or the back? I’m thinking the front is best because it has more weight on it to help with traction. Really need to hear any opinions/suggestions.
Thanks for letting me know. I don’t have shock extensions but I’ll keep looking.
Update: I once had shock extensions but took them off when I installed my mopar lift. Unfortunately I left the bolt and spacer installed to fill the hole I had to drill in the shock mount. Guess what was rattling...
Did you ever find the noise? I have the same noise coming from the back after a 2” mopar lift. It’s driving me crazy. I’ve hit every square inch of the inside with a rubber mallet and no luck.
I had the same problem with the Harbor freight winch that I bought. I ended up disassembling it and relocating the solenoid under the hood. The plug for the hand controls and the switch for the wireless controller was relocated to the knee panel inside the cab.
I just installed my top a couple weeks ago. It’s definitely a pain. I installed it on a cool day and struggled for a long time with that window. As been suggested, let it get warm. It will go on. Once you have it all installed, park it in the sun as much as possible for a few days. Seems to help...
If you’re looking for one, I have the exact same thing for a JT. Still in the box. I think $75 is a little cheap, but I’d be happy to work with you. I decided to get a complete soft top instead. If you’re interested let me know. I’m located in CT.
JKS track bar for sale. Sorry, I don’t want to deal with shipping. This is new IMO. It was on my JT for about 50 miles. Ended up buying a new lift with a steer smart track bar. I’d like $175. I live near Torrington, CT. We can talk about picking up or meeting somewhere.
I did the Flaviar thing for a couple years and really enjoyed it. I learned that my favorite whiskey/whisky is more on the sweeter side. I was totally into the Irish and Japanese whiskey, but I’m discovering so many great domestic distillery’s. Giving this a try as I type this.
Actually, both the front and back are off by 3/4”. I’m pretty sure I will buy the rear track bar too. I was looking at install videos and it looks really easy to correct.
I just installed the mopar 2” lift on my JT. Both the front and rear axles are off by 3/4”. I understand that this is normal, but I decided to buy a track bar to fix the front. If all goes well I will buy the rear. My question is, since the axle is sticking out 3/4” on one side, should I make...
So, after 7 months I decided to remove my daystar lift and install the mopar lift. The rust was bad but the clunking sounds coming from my suspension was getting concerning. I’m not sure if it was poor installation or poor quality lift....maybe both?? Take a look at the damage to the sway bar...
I deal with FedEx at work. The worst customer service on the planet. Currently I have two packages coming. One from the west and one from the east. I live in the east and both say delays due to weather. I don’t even try to call them anymore.
It’s because you went from nonLED to LED. I’m not sure, but I’m guessing the comp sees less current draw from LEDs. I purchased a LED kit from American Adventure Lab with a “bulb out harness”. I’m not sure if theirs will work with your setup? The kit they sell is for sequential directionals...
I had the exact same problem. I relocated part of the control box under the hood with a custom bracket. The wireless controller module, wireless switch and control cable plug inside the cab. Took awhile to rewire everything, but I think it came out pretty good.
I have two sets of Rough country 2” wheel spacers. Never used them. I bought new wheels instead. I’m willing to travel around 25 miles from northwest CT to meet or you can pay for shipping. Make an offer.
I agree. I don’t plan to go through water as deep as my hood. But, I have gotten into trouble before and ended up pushing water over my hood a couple times. Not in the JT.....yet.
That being said, when I pay top dollar for a product, I expect it will work as advertised. I will give them a...
I tried contacting them by email. That was a wast of time. I was redirected to some site where I had to create an account to “open a ticket” or something like that. I created the account and then they were supposed to send a confirmation email. Never got the email. I’m going to try and call them...
