Yep...that's the issue. The top connection point has worked itself off :-( I think there is some adhesive meant specifically for that problem. Not a huge deal, but annoying!
Hard top with rear window defroster grids. Left and right rear windows defrost no problem, but the sliding middle section does not appear to be working/heating. Anything I can look for...where does that fix even start?
Yep, sorry...I know that picture can be tricky. Freedom tops are definitely off there. The top left of the picture is showing the far end of the drivers side of the windshield header channel. The drain hole/tube is that last hole in the channel...if you zoom in you can see the "standing" but of...
Past couple weeks I noticed that anytime it rained, a pretty sizeable amount of water would drop from the top left driver side of freedom panel/door jam area. It's a jeep, so a little water...ok, but this was more than a small bit. After looking at all the seals, and finding the water channels...
I think you're either into them or your not. Not my cup of tea. I'll bring them home to the kiddos or give them to my wife's school for their store. We have the wave...that's enough.
I see they have a 25% coupon for Labor Day starting tomorrow. Does anyone know if that code is individualized...or could it be used on different single item purchases? ;-) Thanks!
I am looking to go to 37" tires, and no other crazy changes. What is the least expensive way to recalibrate the speedo, etc for the new tires? Just seems excessive to spend $200+ for anything I have seen on a device I'll use for the one change. Any other options?
I've actually thought about this as well, and just came to the conclusion there is too much tied into the windshield now to ever lower it? Next to the control box, on the left, I also see a couple wires that are connected to the banding around the windshield. Not sure if those are antennae...
Auto. Best guess is 3-4th gear. Didn't notice anything crazy with the rpm's. Did check and no codes thrown. Also started researching on some JL forums where similar issue. They were pointing to something with the clutch...maybe even a recall. Was going to research that a bit more. Arrrggh! Has...
2020 JTR. All stock. Noticed a weird what I would call power hiccups between 30 mph and 50 mph. Very hard to describe, but almost like trying to downshift, but not really...more of just a power hiccup like a push back in the seat, and then just keeps going. Happens every 5-10 seconds between in...
Gotcha, makes sense. There were some posts about jerryrigging the console USB fuses to where they turn off with ignition. Just seemed like a lot of extra work to get that functionality. I might just get the aaw box and not worry about the issue...doesn't seem like a huge deal.
Any issues with the device staying on when vehicle off and phone still trying to connect to that wireless bridge? I've read through the forum posts on using the wireless adapter, but that seemed to be the biggest downside??
Got these guys installed over the weekend. Super super impressed for the price. High quality, heavy housing. Factory style wiring with DT plugs. I went with the wiring kit from them as well... extremely well made and very easy install. The only frustrating part was the mount bolt didn't fit...
I am planning out my journey to 37's in coming weeks. Reading through some posts, it seems there are issues getting a 37" spare to fit in it's spot. What is the answer here...just run with no spare? Modifications? Air down 37 to super low pressure? A can of the tire-slime stuff??
