  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Yes, for low light. Also, just helps with general visibility when the rod (especially the tip) blends in with the background in daylight. I've used small bells and the micro glow sticks, but I found this to be the simplest. Even in sunlight, visibility of the tip is much more visible. I...
  2. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Since I removed the rear reflectors to install Vision X LED lights, I applied reflective tape to the small flat space that remained on the mounting bracket. @ShadowsPapa (and possibly others) pointed out that our tail lights are not reflective. I verified that mine was not. Not sure if that is...
  3. To Solenoid or Not

I measured the hole to hole distance with a compass (divider), transferred it to a piece of cardboard template, poked holes in the cardboard with a pen, and transferred to the ABS. Then I drilled holes in the ABS.
  4. To Solenoid or Not

I added an Aux switch terminal block to the same bracket. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/what-did-you-do-to-your-gladiator-today.23705/post-584691
  5. To Solenoid or Not

https://amazon.com/gp/product/B0007WTF02/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There may be others that are cheaper, so spend a minute and look around. Good luck!
  6. To Solenoid or Not

It is a piece of ABS (plastic) that I bought on Amazon. It is 12"x12"x1/8". Let me know if you can't find it. I'll get you a link.
  7. To Solenoid or Not

Plenty of manual and switched power cutoff on Amazon. I went with the Warn 62132. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/what-did-you-do-to-your-gladiator-today.23705/post-569146
  8. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Mounted 4 inch Rigid (360 series) lights at the corner of the windshield and hood. Mounted on cheap Amazon mounting bracket, which I'm pretty impressed with. Bracket is aluminum and comes with nice stainless hardware. Had to cut and grind down the carriage bolts that came with the Rigid...
  9. Did you buy a Jeep that is a truck or a truck that is a Jeep?

Good idea on the hitch mounted extender.
  10. Did you buy a Jeep that is a truck or a truck that is a Jeep?

I bought a Wrangler with a bed. Now that I've had the Gladiator for about seven months, here are the things I miss about my 2017 JKU (Sahara): 1. I was able to carry 12 ft long pieces of wood and trim from Home Depot or Lowes. With the glass lid open, sometimes longer pieces would stick out...
  11. Front Lic Plate Bracket... Does it come installed/drilled

The steel bumper comes with a plastic filler plate with four (4) divots to mount the license plate bracket (separate Mopar part). The filler plate is just clipped onto the steel bumper. I didn't need the filler plate on mine since I mounted a winch (and fairlead plate). Hope this helps.
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Added aluminum knob covers I bought on Amazon. The original finish was too shiny, so I sprayed a light coat of matte clear Rust-oleum. Now they're a closer match to the red factory dash. Hard to tell by the picture, but the matte finish reduced the gloss and shine. Before: After clear matt...
  13. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Just received 1.5" BORA (Bulletproof Off Road Adapters) yesterday and installed them today. Very high quality. Each adapter is serialized to the invoice number - lifetime warranty, and made in USA. The factory wheel stud sticks out about 3/16". However, the factory wheel has "pockets", so...
  14. Any SoCal Dealership recommendations?

Bought mine at Bob Baker in Carlsbad. Experience was okay. Just be aware that they will get you with the alarm charges after you commit to buy. Otherwise, it was okay. Know what discounts apply before you go in to make sure that the trim you want qualifies. For service, I took mine into Kearny...
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Should've known - Amazon has everything! Thank you, great tip!
  16. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Ok, the diode makes sense so you don't backfeed into the alternate circuit. Did you do it yourself, or were you able to find an off-the-shelf module? Thanks!
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I used a CURT 56584 harness and tapped into it to have my Vision X lights come on when in reverse. How did you wire it to get it to also come on with the Aux switch? I'm very interested since I still have a harness from near the Aux switch terminal under the hood going back to the rear bumper...
  18. Added Aux Switches. Haven’t flashed yet. Is this normal?

I flashed mine with a Tazer Mini. It didn't show up on Uconnect. When I checked the following morning. Everything worked. I read on other posts that the delay is typical. I agree that routing the harness through the firewall was insanely painful. Now that it is done, I'm very happy with it.
  19. For those that have the bad steering box...let's talk.

That's a bummer. I had a decent buying experience there, but because of the distance, Kearny Mesa was much closer for me. Hopefully, you get the TSB executed. Even if you have to take it to another dealer, it may be worth it. Best of luck.
  20. For those that have the bad steering box...let's talk.

Just curious, which dealership did you go to? I bought mine at Bob Baker in Carlsbad. I'm not even sure it is worth the free oil change to drive there. I'm planning on taking mine to Kearny Mesa from now on.
